My first playthrough of Elden Ring I did faith / str, mostly faith, and yeah its just the best way to play the game imo. You get all of the coolest weapons, you get to use shields if you want, and every new area had some really cool flavourful and situationally powerful incantation, like Golden Vow or Bloodflame Blade or Elden Stars or Lightning Spear. I remember running Mimic tear with Elden Stars equipped and both me and the Mimic would drop that right away and it would instantly stance break every boss in the game and let us nuke it to half health before it even got to attack once. And then you're like damn, this surely can't get any cooler? And then you discover your heal spell basically one shots the most annoying enemy in the game (royal revenants) and theres a whole Scarlet Rot mechanic that you can trivialise with Flame, Cleanse Me. Just an S tier choice esp for a first playthrough.

The crucible horn spell is so fun. I think I once did a faith run and, although I didn't use spells too much, sometimes I'd just horn enemies for fun. It's great

I have been playing with faith/strength builds, using miracles/incantations since Dark Souls 1 and I never get bored of them.

most people pair them with a str build. big hammer for up close then cast for range

Having your estus on the quick bar seems super inefficient. Like a second delay everytime you have to heal and pressing Y and the d-pad at the same time😂
