Oh he almost certainly is an Autistic person like us; Hyper-fixation, very specific interests and ways on wanting to do things, and the social skills to match, I for one believe he could be and welcome him to our club, even if it's just as an honorary degree XD

Here's the thing: it is a nightmare to get through the process for diagnosis as an adult, but the lack of diagnosis does not change my neurodivergence.

Exactly! Of course we're not about to use a hard and fast metric to decide whether it was appropriate for the boys to make those jokes, but it is still a very valid point. I didn't get my diagnosis confirmed til last year, but it's still been a very big part of my life over the last 34/35 years
