Unlike the base game, players now need to stack damage negation on top of decent vigour to eat damage comfortably. I can see how it'd be confusing or not very obvious for some so maybe we need to promote negation stacking like levelling vigour back in the early days.

Scadutree Blessings are more important than Vigor from my experience. If you're struggling, look up where all the fragments are on the wiki and just go grab them. Or git gud. One or the other.

@@lonelyshpee7873 alternatively, swap out those scorpion charms for dragon crests and ravenously consume crab. It goes a long way. With the new dew talisman in the DLC, you can even infinitely recast bestial vitality so you can stay in the fight even longer.

It really is just a matter of tactics and how you approach the boss fights.

Made it to the final boss...and I'm kinda dumbfounded on strategies. Ha ha. Felt like I was getting pretty good...but that guy just steamrolls me. Been a fun experience thus far.

if you head down the south east, though the poison area you can skip rellana, i should probably make a video, i found it as i wanted more dlc items b4 fighting her, as usual int stuff is lacking lol, at least rellana's swords scale alright even if your faith and strength not high, got 16 strength, 18 faith, 27 dex, and 75 int, and hitting for over 1k damage thank god the dlc added new ways to clone boss souls! used all 7 in game ones already like a fool. am now on my way to one, been taking my time really exploring, loving it so far, dont seem like the difficulty is that much higher, now i have like 6 scadutree blessings im quite tanky

And people will say "NOOOOO YOU DIDN'T BEAT THE BOSS, YOU USED THIS AND THAT" but they're still complain it's too hard. To those people I say: either use the tools the game gives you, or just git gud.

honestly yes if you're not a tank build lol. I was INT/FTH before I said fuck it and switched to STR/ARC/END and now I can block 95% of damage (100% of physical) and poke from behind my shield with Mohgs spear loool

I could have done the video without the mimic tear, but still wanted to demonstrate that even at a lower scadutree level etc the game can still be a broken mess with a proper "overpowered" build, people who are saying the DLC is hard are limiting themselves from using IN GAME MECHANICS.

@@Soverign the truth is the dlc is poorly balanced and artificially difficult. this video only asserts "well its easy with mimic tear!"- but of course it is. the problem is that people shouldnt have to use mimic tear to beat the fight. the fights should be tough but fair without summons.
