I heard from someone else that completing the forager brood quest and leaving Moore with the answer “I don’t know” leads to new dialogue after Leda is defeated. Dunno for sure, still have a ways to go before I get there, but I hope it’s doable!

same here… I saw a bug… Thought it was sleeping so did an assassination kill… Killed Moore when he invaded… Got the armor… We missed Moore’s Bell Bearing by doing this though… what does that item allow you to buy?

You get his armor regardless of the choices, you actually missed the only missable part to his quest, that "sleeping" forager is actually freezing, and if you throw a warming stone on it, you save it and get its cookbook, and after coming back to moor, he says it left a gift for you, which is cookbook #7, except if the rune is broken before you saved the forager and you choose the dialogue option that causes him to either die or join leda, then you miss out on the secret cookbook you get for saving the forager, unless you choose the "I dont know" option, then he stays at his location neither dying by trying to save the forager himself nor joining Leda, then you can speak to him and get the hidden cookbook even after breaking the rune

@@nerdoutreachprogram5358 to my knowledge he only dies when Moore does after being told to "remain sad" after the rune is broken, since his body and armor is found on top of the forager, implying that he found it freezing and tried saving it's life with his own body, but I actually do not know what happens if the forager was saved before the rune and you do get the secret cookbook but still tell Moore to remain sad, maybe he still ends up there just without the forager? But if you have not caused the rune breaking point and Moore is still there next to ansbach then the forager should still be alive, keep in mind it looks dead because it's freezing, but it will slightly shiver and make some noises I think

I really hate how quests work in fromsoftware. Ive played every game and done every quest but without a guide they are impossible to finish. I arrived at the final boss of SOTE without knowing it was the last boss and now every quest cant be finished.

Yeah the way they did it was rediculous and disappointing, the entire dlc story is in the top left of the map, I was expecting it to take me south, I finished the dlc with a quarter of the map unlcocked. Good game fromsoft.

I was invaded by him and was so sad 😭

Ok so I did his questline and choose stay sad forever, he is not dead by the church, he is just gone, and i killed every single brood and he still didnt invade me? what is going on?

He isn’t giving me the syrup after I rest at the grace do I have to do something else first?

Okay so I already told him to get over it, but I want that shield bad. Will flat out killing him get me the shield or just the armor?

1. Farm all brood cook books 2. Tell Moore sad forever 3. Get his armor from the brood location north of the church This is the best way I found to get all recipes

When I went to the place to kill the bug that would have originally killed him, he invaded me and I killed him and I got his armor

on my 2nd playthru think i lost out on forager brood cookbooks after telling him to remain forever sad. 1 kindred if rot isn't in the location I think it was cookbook 3

You have to fight Leda in Enir llim she will summon moor and dry leaf to help you have to kill all 4 and will receive all the rewards. Need to kill Messmer to unlock Enir.

I killed a bug next to the church first, then went back and told Moore to stay sad forever. Then back to the church again he was already dead next to the bug and the armor set was there too.

I did Moore’s questline after fighting Leda and the rune has broken with the brood all still alive ? I didn’t get the sad dialog from him, he just told me “kind miquella’s light is gone but I stand tall, together, we work. I never change, always friend to you. I don’t know how to be. Still I have my brood, I enjoy foraging, it is enough.” I’ve went back a couple times and that’s all he’s said.

1:10 - Talk with moore at the miquella's cross grace site. Please tell me the correct answer that for clear. For Soul likes game. If i cheese wrong answer. Quest is maybe fail. Thank you for guiding bro. But this is not clear for me.

Do forager broods disappear after you get moore armor?

Why didn’t I get the full armor of gaius I didn’t get the feet’s. At the echo witch she offers the whole armor but not the feet’s. Is there any reason may someone knows?

I saved a bug from freezing but i already got the syrup and gave it to thollier how can i find moore and tell him about the good deed i did?

my friend killed rellana, killed a bug north of the crusade church, then went to talk to moore for the first time and told him sadness forever, went back to where the bug was at and moore had killed himself and left his items there

What about getting the cook books if you mess up?

He was my favourite npc his so nice i really didn’t wanna kill him but I done what had to be

I screwed up. I went through to the shadow keep, the charm broke, and then I went back and encountered moore after, can I still the jar of syrup?

No you can’t unfortunately. Even if you talk/talked to Thollier if you have already been to shadow keep before getting the syrup from Moore when you speak to him he will already have the dialogue option to be sad forever or put it behind him (you can say idk to wait & still do the other part of his quest) so he doesn’t give the syrup which also affects another questline

Why did he disappear for me I told him to move on and now he’s gone but I still never beat messmir or got the black syrup

Is he a kindred of rot or somehow affiliated with them (armor hides his appearance and he uses pots of scarlet rot)? Maybe he's just mimicking humans.

Idk what else to do for him to invade me but hes nowhere to be seen after i killed the bugs. I went back to grace like 2 times, moved in game time for like 3 days and shit, nothing.

I didn't need to kill him thankfully. I just did his quest and got his set from the curled up kindred pest.

After i got the cookbook and killed the friend, Moore did not invade me :(. What do i do?

Well, you can get a hidden cookbook from him if you collet them all and then talk to moore

For me he wasn’t at high road cross but I killed the first kindred of rot next to crusade church and he invaded me and I killed and got his armour

If I didn’t get the letter for Freyja should i bonk her to get her armor or does she still come at the end with the others

I bonked her once I found out I locked myself out of her questline. It’s so easy to miss. I got her armor, plus it makes a fight you encounter later on in the story easier.

I killed a pest and then he invaded me I didn't realize that they were part of The Brood I hope that hasn't screwed up some huge quest for me or some really cool items do I need to restart how big of a deal is this

At first he invaded me at church of crusade near the ledge i killed him easy but at the next playthrough didn't spawn on series x

Nvm - his bell bearing was at the sight of grace right outside Belurat

I have no idea why but he never gives me black syrup, both him and thollier are there, but alas none of the conversations progress to anything other than him talking about the forager brood

so you have to run all the way to shadow keep in order to trigger the quest???

If you only want his amor you can simply kill every Forager brood that you find (was 3 for me). Moore will invade you and after you kill him you can loot his Amor. You can do this early, i had jet to kill Rellana ^^. Questline is fucked tho -.-

If Moore is not still at the grace after messing up the quest line but still telling him to move on, I killed the bug at 2:39 and he invaded me I killed him and got his set and shield

No you can’t get it, Its given to Thiollier. I followed the steps described if you fail the quest but he didn’t seem to invade me after killing the pest. Most likely because I told him to move on, So Im hoping that he shows up to fight me during the Leda boss

Update, missing out on the black syrup doesn’t fail the questline it just depends on what you said to him for comfort.

This armor makes you look like a golem. Like the ones that carry halbreds or bows.

Anyone tried hitting #3 when he's stuck in the ground seems to be a Alexander situation 😂

Getting the armor is the main plan. I think there's a extra cookbook by throwing a warming stone by the cold/dead looking pest bugs and moore gives you a extra cookbook

After telling Moore either to Get over it or Remain sad forever, can you talk to him again immediately afterwards? I need to talk to him so he can give me the last Forager Cookbook. But whenever I talk to him now, he keeps asking me to choose between Getting over it or Remaining sad.

Someone mentioned in the comments that you can talk to him after making a choice to get the final cookbook 7 but don't travel. Also you have to gather all cookbooks 1 to 6 I think.

Try bonking him, make him go aggro and kill him. I had to do that with Freya, because I decided to play blind and found out I got locked out of her quest…..

Honestly I was excited to know more about him cuz when I met him he sounded so sad and was curious what led to him being that way but just continued along and killed bosses but after killing rellana he popped up somewhere a long the way as I explored and tried to kill me and I was so sad cuz it came out of nowhere and I hadn’t yet heard his story and sadly had to put him down. Rip maybe next playthrough I’ll find out why

Yes if you tell him to remain sad forever he will take it seriously and you basically kill him and can find his body but otherwise he'll come back later

that cant be te only way it ends, with him remaining sad forever or you just killing him after killing his friend. There HAS to be anotherway he must be spared, HE MUST BE SPARED!
