ELDEN RING DISGUISE TROLLING 3 - STORMVEIL (Part 1/3)

Ойындар

Fooling invaders by wearing various disguises in Stormveil Castle! Trolling is the main priority in this video, so please do not expect the most chivalrous display of PvP etiquette! I typically remain still and disguised for a few minutes, and if the invader has not found me by that time, I will reveal my identity and some PvP fighting will ensue.

There seems to be a disconcertingly large number of players with not much multiplayer experience who are confused about the absence of the invaders' names + HP bars above their character models. They also believe that the name + HP bar of the HOST is always above the HOST's character model from the invader's perspective, and thus visible to the invader at all times. Neither is the case. Let me explain how this works: To the host, the name + HP bar of the invader isn't always present. The name of the invader will only show above his character when he takes damage, and will go away after a while of not taking damage. Additionally, the name of the invader will also appear when locked on to him, and won't be there when not locked on to him. The same rules apply to the perspective of the invader - He will not see the name and HP bar of the host above the host's model unless locked on to him, or if the host takes damage. Thus in this video, where the invaders just run past without locking on, and where I am not taking damage, my name and HP bar are not visible and thus they do not notice me. That is also why in a couple of cases, I deliberately engage in combat so as to alert the invaders to my location, as they can see the HP bars of enemy mobs taking tick damage, as well as my own. It's only the names + HP bars of allies that are always visible. So the host will always see the name + HP bar of their furled finger summon. Additionally, you can be invaded while playing solo, if you activate the Taunter's Tongue item, which you receive after beating the dark spirit/red invader Mad Tongue Alberich in the Roundtable Hold - the one that appears when you jump off the balcony into that large room. I do explain this in the PSA at the beginning of the video, but I guess people just skip past it :/. This video really isn't fake. Try out the disguises yourself. You will have a roughly 50/50 success rate and get more than enough footage to make a video about it.

The added dialogue was a really good idea. Keeps it from feeling too repetitive. Also very funny by itself.

I think a lot of them are noticing you as the exile, they're targeting you but they're seeing that you're not the host and taking advantage of the fact that you're keeping the bit up to look for the host. EDIT: Though I'll add that if this is the case, why they don't check the exile RIGHT ACROSS from you is a mystery. Maybe I'm wrong...

The best part of outlandish hiding things like the Stormhawk one is when they finally notice you after ages, come to a complete stop and you just know they're facepalming in despair.

i cant believe the storm hawk one worked! so god damn funny, i am saving this one. also that part where you kill that guy with the explosion, is gold 7:30 also what if one combined that with the bubble tear, would they survive? that would be one heck of a way to kill some one! and live of corse

If i had more HP i would have lived, but I chose not to heal. I prefer for us both to die, that way the poor invader can get a rune arc at least and feel good about themselves. I can tell when an invader is experienced or when they are a new player, and I always feel bad about new players invading since they probably never win. So I let them win, sort of, with a double KO
