42:15 That roll attack is so damn bugged. I've had it several times that I interrupted it (or one of my summons), he instantly throws a different attack in (or gets staggered) and as soon as that is done he continues to roll without any fucking transition in between. Always catches me off guard right into my face.

Yeah it’s a stupid move, I found that more difficult to avoid than waterfowl dance, but I also had a magic build that I think got really lucky. Idk I’m on ng+1 and just got to the farum azulah godskin duo and they just keep fucking me up.

​@@callum6224 I agree. The timing of that roll attack is so extremely tight, it does a lot of damage and knocks you over and just goes on and on, you can easily get hit three times. Waterfowl is pretty simple to avoid when you're further away and in most cases you can still escape it should you get hit. I honestly went through the game once with a melee build without summons for the challenge, in all subsequent runs I mostly used spirit ashes because I'm just playing for the fun gameplay. Both on their own aren't bad, I really liked the Apostle when I first encountered him in the tower. But as the Duo, they're just the worst, I'll gladly use summons, which completely trivialize them. I don't care enough to suffer through this unfun fight - and that goes for many of the bosses. I assume you know how to use the pillars to avoid the roll-attack and to put them to sleep...? I don't quite recall what I used in my magic build, generally mostly meteor, Ranni's full moon and the wing of Astel's weapon art and it was very easy, but that was together with the Dung Eater and Bernahl. Good luck.

it's sad how in these runs, Lichdragon Fortissax and Astel, Naturalborn of the Void are always left out. They are such good bosses and not going for them turns this into a not all-remembrances run

@@General_CAstro and fortisax are extremely long to get to, you have to do rannis quest which can take nearly an hour if you are semi efficient with it

I love watching the chat when he almost gets one shot and how crazy they go. Just shows they havent gone into NG+ or higher

I haven't played NG+ yet. 1. I'm waiting for dlc first. 2. NG+ doesn't add anything new. So instead I just make new characters and builds.

Fun fact, if you kill the old dragon ( about 3:20 ) and get to the grace before getting the runes ( he despawning ) you can actually reset him and still get the runes, so gl farming

The Magic Shotgun blast some of the Sorcerer enemies have is super deadly. Even on a normal playthrough they can one-shot you. Feels like every playthrough I die atleast once to one of those guys.

Man was using Blasphemous Blade on Fire Giant and had the audacity to say “this thing sucks” when the damage wasn’t impressive

also technically you don't die to scion there at the beginning, your character doesn't do a death animation and the death screen doesn't pop up so you really didn't need to star off on ng+1 immediatly

Fun fact the first boss actually does not kill you he reduces your hp to 1 than you get teleported

i tried a no death playthrough unintentionally for about 15 hours of playtime on ng5 and didnt think about the fact i hadnt died untill i was at morgott. i realized i could actually do a no death playthrough of the game and actually tried not to die. for 22 hours of total in game time i spent on this one pkaythrough without dying once… until godskin fight where i misused the black flame tornado and got buttfrucked… ❤️ love forskin duo fight 🥰 10/10 fight love it. what a waste of 2 days

This bugged me as well. its a scripted transition at like 10% health. If you beat the scion then dies to cliff or rolled to your death then yeah sure. But the scion itself doesnt actually kill you ( your character doesnt enter the dying animation if you look closely). In the end though, his run, his rules. Still great content regardless.

Distortion-1 would do this on LV 1 with 1HP,1Stamina and 1MP with 1 hand on his back +blindfolded+ only with his toes and he would do it without any Weapon on the highest NG you can get

So considering this was an all rememberances run, the question is: did you just edit out the Fortissax fight, or did you legitimately forget about Fortissax? Cuz ngl I also had to check to make sure he was a rememberance boss when I noticed he wasn’t in the video. I doubt it would’ve changed much in the run, like if you can take care of Placidusax just fine I’m sure Fortissax wouldn’t have been a problem. Edit: immediately after making this comment I remembered that Astel and Ancestor Spirit also exist.

Is ancestors spirit and that astel forgotten?
