Fun fact about strength (if it hasn’t gotten patched) obviously we know if you 2 hand a weapon you get 50% strength of what you have but this goes past 99. At 99 STR if you 2 hand u essentially have 148 STR

Great Stars is my goat. It is also literally the only weapon that they patched in the ability to powerstance on regular NG (the PVE version of Varre's quest lets you get a second one from the NPC invader)

I just had an idea for something. Like a multi-run challenge. Only levelling one path at a time. You choose one stat to upgrade, and until you reach 99 in that stat, you cannot level any others. Once you get to 99 in that stat, you choose another stat to lock onto and level. The run ends when you complete any ending with 99 in all stats.

@@tototriceps I know this is old, but I feel this could be adapted into an interesting challenge. Start as Deprived, and you can upgrade any stat 10 times. Then you have to pick another stat and do the same. You cannot advance any stat past 20 until all stats are at 20. Really limits your build choices through most of the game, and means you have to get creative to do good damage, since you don't have access to higher requirement weapons/spells. To make it harder, you can outlaw upgrades. Really nerf the scaling on all weapons/catalysts.

i did an arcane build but got stuck at radagon, respeced all my arcane and faith for strength and vigor, got 60 vigorh and over 70 strength, used a heavy dual halberd setup, equipped jump attack talismans and radagon and elden beast are no more

The DLC trailerrrrrr has just got announced I’M SO HYPEDDDDD

I like to see a random level up run so for example make a wheel for the states and once it is land on it level it up 1 or 2 level depends on the difficulty you want and you can level up after a fight with a boss.

Look at the Elden ring one punch all bosses video if you want to see just how strong someone can get in Elden ring

Fun fact: Serpant Hunter is actually the best strength build weapon scaling wise

I dont exactly agree with the "Int builds are busted" idea but i do have agreement that int builds are much easier to MAKE busted

If you use a large weapon with wild strikes you can just stagger malenia out of all her move sets and eventually break her poise for a riposte. Even better with a bleed weapon because its just free damage in the meantime. Pretty easy to no-hit her like that from what I've seen (I'm a dirty faith abuser)

I have an Idea: Elden Ring as Beast Clergyman and when you kill Maliketh than only with his gear. So you do like the transition of him.

The Godfrey's axe issue isn't helped by radagon being strong against everything but strike.

My only strength character was a large club user named: Unga Bunga: The strongest of all Ungas (The tribe), The last Bunga (The tribe warrior chief).

i tried elden ring myself recently, refunded it after 1,5 hours because i got lost and ended up fighting magret before i even got my mount

Yeah as someone who's done a build around almost every stat ( not done arcane yet ) strength is easily the most busted ket me put it like this with max intelligence set-up you hit like a train constantly crushing them to pieces....with strength you hit like a nuke one-taping half the things in game and with infusions and the max set-ups that includes most bosses until the mountain tops have fun being a God

you should beat elden ring as a bloodhound knight only using bloodhounds fang claws and armor

You should try vigor only with no stat boosting to limit your access to weapons a bit.

Ima be honest the jump attacks never felt quite right in the stonk vibe. Not clunky enough or individually hard hitting enough. Tbh lions claw spam is my str cheese of choice as my vengeance for having my splat on colossal equivalent charged heavies other than giant crusher. Prelates is similarly good for just having so much stagger that you can stunlock via the sheer bs of your recovery being less slow than theirs.

my build is dual executioners axe with all the right talismen along with blood flame, flame grant me strength, and crag blade and that is posture breaking city

I'm currently doing a strength build as my first build and I'm kinda stuck on fire giant... I mainly use the pizza cutter and the godslayer's greatsword.

lol dont underestimate dex... a bloodhound fang and omen cleaver might be the most op weapons in the game when throwing blood into the mix... I've tested the highest str weapons and dex and there is still nothing more game breaking then these weapons while jump attacking.. you can melt bosses almost too easily

The axe is fine, but compared to other str weapons its kinda trash...

I always end up with the unga bunga build. On my first play through my buddy gave me his giant crusher for my bloodhound blade and we would gank people while both dual wielding ridiculous crap. I feel bad about that.
