They give the fang early for people who are just learning. Some people i know who think the game was too hard and quit and didn't want to play again. I showed bloodhound fang and they played and liked the game, im glad they had that weapon there for them. They would have never played again if it wasn't for that. Also bloodhound fang is such a awesome weapon.

Is it possible to dual wield 2 Bloodhound Fangs? How would that compare to this build? I love powerstancing but not sure what to pair with a Bloodhound Fang..

Morgott’s cursed sword is great to powerstance with bloodhounds fang.

Bloodhound fang is so damn good and the moveset ash of war looks so freaking cool. This weapon still is viable in ng+7 so good and very early to get as well

You can kill the dragon faster with blood flame blade and spinning weapon ash . Under 30 seconds . Use scythe with 55 bleed

Unfortunately no. I haven’t had time with DLC in 12 days. There’s a late game version though in my “TOP 6 Builds for DLC” on my channel. 🤘

I didnt get back to the grace point in time and my dragon died!! Do I have to start over? Is it necessary to level up several times to get the sword??

Not really. 1 time should get you enough for the requirements then level up naturally through bosses.

Make sure it’s equipped in the left hand (seal) and then use LB/L1 to put it on the right hand weapon. 🤘

For the golden vow ash of war buff. 10% defense/attack for 40 seconds.

how do you get the charge attack to work on controller? The only way I got it to work was by light attacking first, holding it, then holding charge attack. I cannot just hold charge attack and get it to work.

On xbox you just hold RT. But if you’re talking about the ash it’s LT then follow up with RT.

Shouldn’t be that’s only for charged hits. Make sure you have the weapon requirements & you’re 2-handing it.

Nope, it’ll stay the same. But the only reliable way is with bleed.

I failed the dragon farming and now I don’t have enough runes for for smithing stones🤦🏼‍♂️😂

I defeated bloodhound knight in the early game and didnt know it is a very powerful weapon. Thanks for the guide😅

Keep leveling naturally through the game. As long as you have the stats for bloodhounds fang, it’ll be pretty easy early on.

Bloodflame blade? Seal in the left hand to cast. You need some arcane & faith.

With Alexander's talisman it would have more damage

throught mans would just take the tp behind the church to caelid

Better to have Rotview unlocked and grab FGMS at the fort.

Ya missed the part where ya can summon another tarnished to help fight Bloodhound. Makes the fight super easy even for noobs. What no one talks about is the BHF is the ONLY sword that does the reverse slice attack and when followed by R2, it launches ya towards the enemy with a followup charged attack. Once ya get it up to +9 and use blood grease, it can take out a whole group of enemies with only a couple of frenzied back attacks. There's a reason why this weapon is used so heavily in PvP as well to this day. A +9 single handed BHF is better than dual wield katanas. Also BHF is a DEX weapon so pump most of your points into vigor and DEX and use talismans that buff Dex. I just unlocked moonveil katana and its ok but BHF is still better, especially with the L2+R2 deadly combo.

It’s actually pretty quality. Once you hit 60 Dex you should go for strength. It gets a “B” in Dex & a “C” in Strength. With the two handed bonus once you hit 30 strength (45 2 handed) you’ll get more points than after 60 Dexterity (which is where you should cap Dex). And yep there is a summon, Blaidd who can help. 🤘

Bloodhound’s is L2/LT then R2/RT for follow up. Right hand is for the seal to use bloodflame.

Nagakiba double slash with BFB is better than the ROB in the RL 125-150 range.

Im level 175 so 80 points in dex and 53 in strength puts the AR of the weapon in 900 lol Im 1 shotting every mob in NG+1 HAHA

If you have the levels for the weapon, just level up naturally through the game & move on/head to Stormveil.

Keep leveling dexterity & some strength. Get lord of blood’s exultation in the capital. Ritual sword talisman in Altus too.
