jev pair the fists with blue dancers charm since the fists weight like nothing and you arent wearing armor. Its like a 15 percent dmg increase at under i think 10 equip load but its 2nd only to the red feathered branch which is kinda hard to optimize

Yeah that's literally the case with many bosses especially the promised consort and this fight. Be close and dodge accordingly or in morgott case, you can just run. Never try to run or dodge aw

Do lvls even matter in the dlc? I'm 200+ and everything hits like 60s father after work

1:27 i dont know if you will read this but morgott is an omen and in elden ring lore omens basically have the power to summon lesser versions of themselves at will, hence why morgott is the strongest version because that is his true form and margit being his lower

Honestly Jev probably used to killing Morgott so fast that he never sees that attack haha. I think he only uses it once when he has 1/3 health remaining or something

The arsenal charm adds an extra percentage of equip load, but because it’s percentage based it barely adds anything when you have no points in endurance

You could also get the blue dancer charm, one of if not the best rl1 talismans, because if you are already going to be light loading you can a pretty big damage increase form blue dancer.

Hey Jev I just started my SL 1 run as well and I got a few things that could help. You can buy the basic finger seal from the vendor grandma at roundtable and grab flame grant me strength for defense and damage. You can't use it yet, but you can get the T\wo Finger Heirloom for +5 faith. Start your buffs with the Physick because they have the longest timer, then golden vow, flame grant me strength, swap the two finger talisman back off for whatever you prefer, then use Cragblade and walk in. You could also get the Blue Dancer Charm for exponential damage increase the lighter your equip load. I would recommend the Axe Talisman, Ritual Sword Talisman, Radagon's Sorseal (The +5 buffs to strength and dex will give good damage), and then the Blue Dancer Charm. And remember with the talismans, alot of the stat bonuses you need for weapons can be found on random armor pieces. (The Omen Smirk mask gives strength, for example). The Physick can help a ton as well depending on the boss, for fire giant you can use the bubble as usual for any of his BS, and pair it with either the magic tear to boost the percentage of health the frost build up does, or the stone barbed to break his posture easier. Good luck with the runs, I hope any of this info helps at all and thank you for the years of content and joy Jev.

I am once again reccomending the uplifting Aromatic for 90% damage negation on one hit.

Note: the spin combo of morgott is actually one of his best openings, he always does it after the cartwheel roll swing and the hammer slam, and can be entirely avoided by dodging forward left. It's subtle but the spin is actually angled in a way where it goes over you when you roll that direction. It's a good opening since you only need to roll once since it can't track well when you are behind him.

Still cant believe he hasn't even leveled up yet is his game broken or something?

Idk if you're gonna read this or not but my first thoughts that come to mind for a level 1 build of what you can use is the rykard spear for the boss fight and the Cinqedea which is Caelid under the Bestial grace area. Both require no stats to wield and both are a somber weapon but the Cinqadea is a dagger but it does free up a talisman slot and you can get it at the start. Good Luck!

I just started playing like a week ago and the biggest thing I’ve learned from Jev is roll towards not away

Best thing to do is get yourself some throwing knives or some throwable object. If you feel like you're not getting damage in you can just chuck a knife and it'll keep the poise meter from resetting which will get you more staggers

The facial reactions at 17:30 too good

Jev for the later game bosses, use the ash of war (shield) called vow of the indomitable. You can get it from a scarab right near omenkiller and it is the most slept on yet GAMEBREAKING item in the game since day 1. It lets you ignore ALL DAMAGE for like a 1 second window (the attack will literally go through you like I frames) with super quick casting speed

I also just started a lvl 1 playthru. I used cragblade on Zwiehander up to the Fire Giant. I would suggest using Deaths Poker on Fire Giant and Godskin duo. You can wield the meteorite staff with rock sling by using the int tear in your physick and can kill the deathrite bird with it in Caelid for Death’s Poker. It is also a somber weapon which I was able to get stones for it to be level 9. Just a thought if you struggle with the damage output on fire giant like I was.

Since it’s a level 1 run I recommend the uplifting aromatic perfume, it applies an attack buff and gives the same one hit save as the bubble tear and you can hold 10 if you find all the perfume bottles so that’s 10 free hits 11 if you use the bubble tear

I really like how the Godfrey fight you didn’t cut it up, for the boss fights, keeping it uncut I think is a lot better.

Watching you couch yourself is so funny cuz honesty that’s really what you gotta do in these situations on this game lol

Light roll is what helped me get through the bosses in the dlc before the nerf it turned the game into bloodborne with the speed and damage taken

Jev I suggest blue dancer charm talisman which raises your attack with low equip load since your sticking to light roll. It will give you close to a 15-18 percent boost in damage

jev i recommend using the blue dancer charm as it increases all physical damage i believe around 13% and since you'll be light load the entire run it's free damage to use. Its found in thge highroad cave in limgrave

You’re basically where I’m at rn , I have 60 hours I got lost for a few days and was going in circles til reached the radahn fight . Can’t wait to beat the game and try the dlc
