Dex is pretty useful to level up even with a magic build (aside from allowing you to use cooler weapons) because increasing dex actually makes your casting time for magic faster.

I really want to increase dex because of the whip and claw weapons ;-; I wanna dual wield whips at one point lol thanks for letting me know that the dex stat also benefits magic somehow :D

Serving Ranni and stuff does affect your ending technically but except for 1 hard to get ending you can choose any ending you've completed the quest of right at the very end, so you don't get "locked" into endings like other games

38:48 there is a secret drop down to your right of the edge of the balcony a door you can open and a ladder up kill everything at the top n the ball will stop spawning

you can pretty much go through the entire game and set up each individual ending but can only chose one so do whatever it is you feel that will make you enjoy the game

This is just a recommendation for elden ring, try to use a fast weapon with decent damage (ofc you can use whatever you want this is just whats better for combat)
