독일태생 독일인 부모가 한국인

저렇게 근사하고 멋진여성이 한국인이라니...너무 멋지고 독일어를 구사하는 모습이 정말 사랑스럽다 이런 유전자는 진짜 타고나야하는것인가..

You can sort of tell from her facial expressions and gestures (not to mention her native fluency in German) that she grew up in Europe, not Korea.

How many languages can she speak? I've seem her fluently speaking korean, german, and english so far.

well she was born in germany from korean parents and later moved to america to learn music there. the woman is a god sent violinist and great talent on many levels

She was born and raised in Germany but she was born to a Korean family where they spoke both I believe so when she went to school in America she also learned English

독일에서 태어난 교포에요 국적도 독일이구요. 독어가 모국어이고 한국어랑 영어가 그 다음이겠죠

I know of a Korean musician who was in Los Angeles for graduate school in music performance. The story is she arrived not speaking a word of English and left four years later still not speaking a word of English. (This may be a slight exaggeration, but not entirely, and certainly she can read English and understand when others speak.) She later lived in China and apparently got more comfortable speaking English in nine months there than four years in LA.

Wow!!!! I am impressed. Korean, German, English... how many languages can you speak?

즌광철이팬이다 발번역이라도 해드리면 여기서’아마도 엘필하모닉’과 연주한 것은 처음입니다. 현대음악을 특히 제 2번째 고향인 한국 작곡가의 곡을 연주해서 좋았습니다. 저는 오늘 윤이상의 바이올린 협주곡 2번을 연주했습니다. 윤이상은 한국사람으로 제가 이해할 수 있는 어떤 공통점이 있다고 생각합니다. 윤이상은 한국과 독일이 어려운 시기를 보내고 있을 때 한국의 음악을 유럽에 소개하고 유럽의 음악을 한국에 소개했고 아방가르드 음악을(현대음악?) 작곡하는데 한국의 전통음악을 이용했다는 점이 특별합니다. 전 여기(독일)에서 태어났지만 100퍼센트 한국사람이라 느껴서 전 그의 음악을 잘 이해할 수 있다 생각합니다. 요즘 많은 관객들이 클래식 공연장을 찾지 않는데 관객들이 이번 현대음악 연주회를 찾았다는 것이 매우 주목할만합니다. 이번 공연엔 관객이 많았습니다. 중간객석뿐만 아니라 양옆, 위층에도 관객이 있는 것을 봤습니다. 현대음악이 다른 음악, 아니면 현대음악으로라도 여기서 또 연주할 기회가 또 있었으면 좋겠습니다.
