I have been training martial arts for many years and can still appreciate learning the nuances of a technique. One critique: your camera is too close. Being able to see your foot work would be beneficial.

Thanks for watching and the tip 👍🏽
I'm tall and skinny and have boney elbows. I've always used them for that very reason,my hands are boney also and tend to get damaged. But, those big knobby elbows are like a weapon. That's why I use open hand strikes.

I've boxed for many years & boxed in the military while serving 20yrs active, you can seriously hurt your fist with an elbow but no they can't break your elbow. the elbow is really tough, I wouldn't start with elbows because you have to be really close

Thanks for watching my channel. No, punches will not break your elbow. The bones in the hand are more fragile and smaller than the larger and harder elbow.

Very good question sir. If the arm is extended.... the right kind of punch to the elbow can cause long term debilitating resonance; not to mention a broken.... or permanently crippled arm. ♠️THE VANITY ADDICT♠️
Thank you for the valuable content. If i may and with the greatest respect, the technique is wrong. Although the strike is powerful, i can see that there is no structure behind. This may put the subject in great danger, especially if facing somebody with martial art experience.

I respectfully disagree. These movements are not for sport. In the street what makes any technique/movement effective is preemption. Self-defense is not pretty. You can have perfect form and many years of training. However, if I go first attacking your vision, breathing, and mobility with constant forward pressure...you lose. Many variables influence the delivery of a strike. Having studied the martial sciences for 58 years, it has been my experience that people with martial arts experience don't fight in the street.

Elbows are great until you get a chronic injury, then they become something you can never do and have to think again 😂

I understand. As I got older, 71 years old, I had to modify my movements. You can use edge of hand and chin jabs instead of elbows in close quarters.
