    Stumbled upon this rare gem right here. Who ever uploaded this thank you I was trying to tell this young cat that he didn’t come up with the elbow flare track and now he is in awww to see people doing it before he was born. Lol the dancers in this video were so far ahead of their time. Hope they’re all doing well right now knowing they could be well into their 40’s...

    Great video. My friend Arson told me that he met a guy named Paulo from South America in 1996 who told him about the Electro Break event and the innovations that were being made at the time in breakdancing. He is not the inventor however I saw him do his first elbow flare in 1998 and continuous by 99. He created some of his own moves around that time also.

    man breakdance was the name given by the media `` hoolywood... in the 80's but bboying is one of the 4 hip hop elements. as well as graffiti, dj, mcs (rap) bboying stands for break boy... breakdancing bboying is all the same.... as long as you dance on the beat

    u were right! but u know that becouse someone told you! unless u were there back in the lates 70's... is not about who's care about this or that... is about telling stories and giving the props for who made a difference in the bboy scene. despite the fact of lettting the young generation know about the moves stories.

    No problem. Just glad I'm getting through to someone. I've been trying to get people to understand what biting really is. Quest Crew the biggest bitters out there is defended by a shitload of fans who think biting is alright and things as crazy as walking could be bit. Crazy, crazy people. Anyways glad to help.

    Kid...Plese brudda...I'm from da 'ol school. Ur right and at the same time it's like sayin' it's not bitin' when permission is granted. Style and moves? If someone does EXACTLY what another does, it is biting. If some1 is inspired to do something of their own, based on what another does it's not bitin'. The fact is It's a style of dance that all bboys participate in. Not everyone does the same mves but they bit the dance/life style. Be enticed but put your own spin on it... Keep it fresh... Kid.

(thinking that elbow flares would be with the tip of ur elbow, but when i saw someone doing for the first time it was with fore arms.. wtf? is wird but i guess ppl called like that coz when u r learning this ur ebows get fucked! burnt! maybe thats was the reason!! maybe we should change the name to forearms flares, not just for this move! as well as the elbow track or elbow airflare

    no man,well for me. Regular elbow flares are way harder.If you would ask The end to pull of mutiply elbow flares like these guys here,even he wouldn't be able to pull it off. Im sure these guys woudl easily be able to pull of an airflare from a elbow flare.

    Are you fucking serious? Top rock, six step, freezes. Windmills. All that shit we do is bitten. It would be impossible not to bite. In my experience the people who are worried about being bitten, are the clowns who ain't got shit to bite anyway. And the ones who don't care, and in fact encourage you to take their stuff, are the true masters. Peace.

    Man... No bboy should complain about bitters cause the fact that you're a bboy and you're not from New york makes you a bitter. Thanks to "bitting, bboying is as advanced as it is. If noone bit the style it would have died a long time ago.

    Lawl. Bboy before you talk about shit you don't know. RSC one of the first crews started teaching the basics. They gave their consent for it to be taught. That's why everything you just listed wasn't bitten but taught. If a move is taught its not called biting. Why don't you look up Kenswift. He's the prince for a reason. People like him made the moves and then decided to teach them. Likewise this is why you don't see Bboys stealing other Bboys signature moves. There's respect around Bboys.

    Lol. Then when I'm in the dance studio showing everyone how to do a move, everyone of them is biting? In what way does that sound right? Same with all studios in the world. If they are teaching a basic move say 6 step then how is it possibly biting. Everyone is doing the same thing. There's always been a move bracket which has long been regarded as common. All the moves in that bracket can't be considered biting. Really now. All beginners are biters? Nah.

    I just realized you said biting toprocks. That is one of the funniest things I have ever seen an Eboy say. You needa get some culture Bro. You can't bite toprocks, their part of foundation along with footwork. Foundation is the base everyone has it. Toprocks are differentiated through each Bboys style. No toprock is the same. Well except for the style less but who cares about the noobs. Compare Physicx's toprock to Caspers toprock. Same crossover technique but look completely different.

  • @NyctNyct
    @NyctNyct14 жыл бұрын

    Lol what the hell? You have to be from NY to not be considered a biter? Wow. Lemme give you a history lesson. When RSC went to Europe they taught people. They taught their style and moves to them so that they could learn. How could that possible be biting. Those Bboys in turn took the moves and made it their own. Storm made tapmillz out of windmill, etc ,etc. They developed it and they used the orignal. You don't see RSC calling them biters. You're getting moves and style mixed up, kid.

    Man... ur shi' is startin' not to make sense. Learners ARE biters. But they're biter in the way that their stealing cause they're not stealing so they're not biters... They also are not pioneers which makes them "copy cats"... Nothin's wrong wit it ju's let it be known.
