Elantra N Functional Rear Vent DIY (OEM)
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Will swaps out his stock Hyundai Elantra N rear vent to actually make it functional. Pretty easy install with a bit of cutting that takes time but not too shabby!
These part numbers are only usable in Korea

I think what I love most about the car how easy it is to upgrade it to “luxury” status or better performance. Just amazing.
I know I'm getting old when rear seat vents are a lot more appealing to me than the downpipe you installed a few weeks ago 😆
You won me over within 2 minutes of the video - “that’s just how my brain works” and the pained gargle as you reached into the center console. It was like listening to myself work on cars 😂
It’s a little pricey, but it’s really nice to know this is possible. Thanks for the excellent DIY!
So cool seeing this done in practice! I remember being excited about the possibility of this mod when Ns first started getting in peoples' hands
love ur guys videos! u guys r the reason i have a EN in the garage
I've always wondered if this was possible. Thanks for the video!
Nice install! The way it should’ve come… now onto the dead screen next to the gauge cluster! only thing I’ve seen for that is a carbon fiber cover.

Very cool to know that this is possible, thanks for sharing.
My 2020 Elantra GT nline came with the rear console and rear foot vents. Appreciated for an economy car lol
really nice video honestly dont see myself doing this much but it looks nice and it has a use to it. Do you think you can do auto folding mirrors?
Great video❗️❗️ Surprised you didn't replace the hand brake with the Alcantera one...or is that another video🤔 I had the Alcantera triplets replaced on my EN through my dealership and was charged 1 hour labor, so OTD was $182.
Lmfaoo at the intake conspiracy🤣🤣
Cool 😎, I wonder if this is available for I30N Fastback. Great works guys 👍
Shoot im going to do this for sure!
Great video. Now just need a way to replace the power window switches to get all auto-up/down.
Def doing this to my nline
The ones in puerto rico have rear vents and usb ports and the red color. Good idea to have it shipped to the mainland
Does this mean that there's a chance there will be a power folding side mirror kit as well? I would buy it in a heartbeat.
I have the 22 elantra limited hybrid. Would this work on my car? Thanks for an awesome video
did you guys look into the factory N performance cold air intake you can get from korea? it might actually fit the inlet because it does come with a different sized one.. it is a bit pricey though
Thanks for this. I already have the parts. Next nice day I'll probably install the parts.
That’s a lot work As long I’m good in the front they can burn up in da back 🤣 have you figured out a way to cup holder in the back
You should try installing power folding mirrors from the models in other countries. Let us know if it works 😁
Whats the part number to that trim piece around the shift boot? I broke some clips myself 😅
The left screen could it be the side view mirror delete and a side camera shows the blind spot image in that spot I believe they had it on some Kia/Hyundai prototype car.
so going to do this to my N so my kids can have some ac and heat in the back seat
is this possible for the hyundai tuscon? how did you figure out what part numbers you needed?
Do you guys know where I can get a full OEM front bumper replacement?
do you know how much the intake lite will be?
Just got mine a few days ago from, but with it being 100& outside I haven't installed it yet.
Wonder if there's a similar thing for my Type-R.
If right hand side driver can use?
I’m wondering if this works also for the Kona N??
Do the vents that are already under the seats still have airflow as well? Or is just coming out the center console. Just curious been waiting for someone to do this and been wanting to order it haha

They still have airflow (just checked).
What website did you use to order parts ?
Is there a version for the Kona N?
An oscillating tool would probably work well I would say
Can a regular 2022 Elantra fit the same thing ?
That same corner on the shift collar is impossible on my car it almost feels like its screwed in :(
i may just open that plugged vent to keep the consul cool, stop my ice from melting so fast
My 22 Forte GT came with rear vents?
drove me nuts that for some reason you had to keep pulling your sleeve down so it covers some of your hand. is it for looks of covering scars or something?
Lol we just get these stock in the i30n sedan here in Australia. No idea why they also gave us heated steering and left it out for you guys considering how cold it gets there
@HarmanMotorWorks

And we also get a manual with sunroof option here as well, which I heard is not a thing in the US
What site do I order it from, you just gave the product number
As much as I love this, I can’t help but wonder if there is a simple way to add 2 usb C ports under the vents.
@sheaadams86

Hard to tell in video, if there would be enough clearance between duct and back of console to fit ports 🤔
Is there a rear USB port diy?
Not running an oil catch can?? Why not?
In the F/L version, a C type charging port has been added.
Any reason why the lithium battery was taken off? One of your first videos you show a lithium battery that you added to your car. Because of the significant weight difference I also went with your recommendation and purchased one for my N as well. Any reason why you no longer have this battery on your Elantra N? Anything specific that I might want to know about so I can also go back to the stock battery?

I store the car in the winter (I have a winter DD), so I put the stock battery back in on a tickle charger. The LiFe4 battery is back in now.

Thanks bud! I was worried for a second! LoL On another note- does your contact from Korea (the guy that’s supplying the Rear AC vents, does he happen to have an instagram where I can message him? Don’t have a Facebook acct anymore so if you have any other way that I might be able to contact him that would be greatly appreciated. I want to get those parts on order the second I finished your install video. Thanks again
I'm looking up those parts and om finding nothing 😢
Does this cut down on airflow to the front seats a lot. I know obviously some but how noticeable
@williamrori1274
Жыл бұрын
Honestly, I can't tell there's any reduction in airflow at the front.
Out of curiosity, is there room and/or any sort of option to add a USB or 12V outlet to the bottom of the back of the console? I think more than the A/C situation, that is the thing that bothers me most about the rear seats, that and the lack of cup holders...
@williamrori1274
Жыл бұрын
I'll pull it off to check, but IIRC you could add a USB but it would have to be in like the lower ~4" of the back of the console to clear the ducting.
@hapazaz

@@williamrori1274 awesome, I figured as much regarding it having to be on the bottom, but im glad it's a possibility in general. Contemplating potentially using the car for Uber occasionally and rear passenger creature comforts make all the difference
There is no link to buy the parts. Just a personal Facebook page.
Mine has a USB connector. I have no idea how to wire that.
I'm sorry if you answered this...I'm still looking to see if I can get away with a 18*9.5 255/40, I only know of the person who posted it on KZread but he was 19x9.5 +30 245/40, but I'm thinking about more rubber.

Can this work on the elantra n line also. They pretty much have the same interior no?
@blassmau5361
4 ай бұрын
i used to work for hyundai and we had the interior of a 2023 elantra n line torn apart due to the airbag light being on and that duct that is blocked off is there as well in the nline
You think that lithium battery size would pop into a Veloster n ?

The stupidest thing they do is not put vents for the rear passenger, but they put vents on the bottom for their feet. That's the issue I have with my K5 🙄
