Rides of Pride takes you to El Salvador, where we get to witness the birth of El Salvador's first lowrider car club, Kuskatlan Car Club. The San Salvador club shows how they are an emblem of perseverance and harmony in a nation healing from years of gang violence.
Heading back to my dad's home country of El Salvador for this documentary feels like reconnecting with a part of myself. Despite all the challenges the country has faced, being part of capturing the birth of its first lowrider car club is incredibly special to me.

Esto no daria buen resultado en el salvador. Si ami que estoy tatuado como me jode la policia y eso que tengo ya papeles de la u.s nomas ven los papeles le paran porque saben que la pueden cagar con una demanda. Y este tipo abla ingles bien hood. He sounds to ghetto and hood. You can tell he got deported and did some time. The sad part about it in el salvador theres not really a urban culture of anything. If you wear a cap or have a tatt oh hes a banger. They relate everything to banging. If you jam to some hip hop oh he a banger. Me dress very urban with my white forces demin shorts caps like in the states. You can tell I been out the country. Ufff cuando el regimen pego me andavan bajo el regimen. How will this be any different than gangbanging? Give it some time these clubs will start throwing up gang signs they'll start having rivalry with other bike clubs till violence solves they're issues. Nothing different in that life style
