El Questro Station - Ep 10: Lap of Australia
After 9 days remote on the Gibb we head to El Questro Station, treating ourselves to a fancy dinner and checking out everything there is to see. We meet some great pals, somehow win a quiz night and do what is still our favourite hike of our lap.
The incoming weather then shuts down parts of the Gibb and surrounds, cutting us off from a long-awaited destination, but thankfully we still have enough time to backtrack and make it to one more hike.

The Gibb is so awesome! We’re on it right now! I just hope the corrugations don’t rattle us to death! 😂

Yesss how much fun is it!! Such an adventure Hahaha best of luck 🤣🤣 where abouts are you guys now? The section from Ellenbrae to the Pentecost was the worst for us when we went 😅 safe travels!!

@@mattandche heading to Gibb River Road hopefully with two friends met at Alice Springs, we are both driving a Dmax and both have the same camper trailer - Conqueror UEV490 so it should be great ,

Thanks they were magic! Some of our favourite in Aus. This was around this time last year, near the end of June there was a bunch of unseasonal rain that came through 😅 and in the middle of the school hols for all the poor touring families! We were so sad to miss out on the Bungle Bungles but an excuse to go back 🤪
