I solved the lore of this series so far: El Macho fought alongside the Avengers during the Battle of New York circa. 2012. During the climax of the battle, he died in the most macho way possible: riding a shark with 250 pounds of dynamite strapped to his chest into the Mothership of the Chitauri fleet. This ended the battle, with all of the heroes mourning his apparent death by eating Shawarma. However, this was not the case: as El Macho faked his death to pursue his dream in villainy. It wasn’t until circa. 2025 when he came to face to face with the superhero team called the Illuminati. He curbed stomped them so hard it caused an incursion.

Actually, the last scene after the credit, which showed Morbius giving up to the morbing side and about to morb an homeless man, ends just before Morbius is stopped by an unknown assailant which is strongly implied to be El Macho. If this scene isn't anachronic to the rest of the movie, then it could mean El Macho survived after all and became an independent vigilante to keep atoning for his past sins.

I enjoyed watching every single second of this masterpiece.

El Macho's character arc in the MCU is insane tbh. Going from the unlikely ally in the first avengers movie to the sole killer of the entire Illuminati in multiverse of madness is such an amazing villain arc. The writers of these movies are amazing!

My favorite part is how El Macho tried to hook up Antonio with Black Widow, and Gru just being very uncomfortable with the whole El Macho thing going on.

Happy to see Macho get his own Gru-style redemption arc.
