La Excelencia de México - Mariachi Nuevo Tecalitlán - performs "El Cascabel" at the 28th Annual Mariachi Extravaganza in San Antonio, Texas. This performance took place on November 18, 2022 inside the Lila Cockrell Theatre of the Henry B. Convention Center and was the first time Mariachi Nuevo Tecalitlán headlined the annual Mariachi Extravaganza.

The Mariachi Extravaganza is produced by San Antonio based MPR (Muñoz Public Relations). Our mission is to utilize the mariachi music platform to promote higher education and cultural preservation among Hispanic youth. A portion of proceeds generated from the Mariachi Extravaganza is awarded in scholarships and grants to vocal competition winners.
