the wipeout ride there i got to ride it when it came to Winter Wonderland in London which was its first fair fresh from the KMG Factory! its really good fun lots of airtime and quite intense!

I remember seeing the warrior ride, could imagine them loading the ride from the bottom while you sit at the top. Was a good time of the year.

Ah, what's not to love about the EKKA. Horribly junky food? Check. Sketchy but suprisingly fun carnival attractions? Check. Everything is wayyy overpriced? Check. Jokes aside, the EKKA is always a highlight of the year, even if I can't go cos I'm kinda strapped for cash right now. This video is great because it means I can still see the stuff going on there. Nice work! How was the first trip?

Thank you, glad the video helped! Was indeed pricey. Buying the ride currency on the Ekka website it a little bit cheaper than doing it in person. Have a great time!

Thank you! We didn't check and just filmed on the two ride povs shown in the video. They didn't seem to care. A few of the bigger rides had signs saying "no loose articles", so not sure how that works with secured GoPros. I'd be interested to know for next year's event.

Can't wait for the Melbourne Show. The Warrior will be there. Hopefully The Joker and Beach Party comes down too, plus Space Roller will return :)

Have a great time! For ride queues they'd probably be shorter at the beginning and end of the day (walking past the Crazy Coaster for example the queue was much shorter at night). We sadly didn't have time to see the fireworks.

I saw that plane while watching the lions game at the gabba i was so confused lol but at least i know now

I’m waiting for the Zipper to make a return to the Ekka before I go back again. When I was in high school yrs 8-10 (1983-85), my mum worked for radio station 4KQ and would be given wads of free tickets for Whittingslow, Bells & Durkin rides mostly. The best Ekkas were when the Zipper and Turbo were there.

wow the EKKA is here AND did you know that Shirvo from Sunrise on Channel 7 is having a meet and Greet at Brisbane royal show! Wow look at the things you can do you can win prizes and Maybe go on a SPOOOOOKY ghost train OOH!! Would ogre like that? And that dragon is really cool.. POV Time! (with you Ogre friend unknown name as of now Friend ogre) That was a good ghost train 9/10! Where's wags the dog these days? Should he be at the ekka? Rockstar I do love being a rockstar and i love how it goes left and right! Nice coaster i rode this at the sydney royal easter show the jurassic coaster and it goes a lot of times with those ride laps! (Is there a t-rex jurassic park? :D) YEEEHAW to the monster trucks ride! :) You know what there should be? there should be a hot air balloon ride where you can have a ride around the EKKA like a helicopter! A disney swing ride alr! WEEE to the slide i do love slides (Do you know there might be a disneyland coming to australia) Nice fun cars ride for the kiddies I do love me a dodgem ride Im not going on wipeout ride i was so tired after it it was at the sydney royal easter show in april Im not going on it nextyear defiently Nope! (Just let me hear some of that rock'n'screaming'roll music!) Twister!! this is maybe lame on my part but I'm not a fan of Ekka for 2 reasons/ 1its over priced. 2 those rides always have incidents definitely not as safe as the permanent gold coast ones.

It was pricey for sure! As far as fair rides go it looked much safer and professional compared to other fairs
