Eiza González learned to speak and sing in German for new role
Actor Eiza González joins Hoda & Jenna to talk about how she prepared for her role in the upcoming film “The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare,” and reveals that she had to learn how to speak and sing in German! “I really like to challenge myself and take roles that shed us in a beautiful light, the Latin community,” she says. She also talks about landing the role in Netflix's "3 Body Problem."

Although many of us do not live in USA, Europe or Asia, and are living in differents countries in Latin Americ, I think we all are grateful and appreciate that our parents knew we needed to learn not only English, but also other languages, perhaps not perfectly but it opens our future to a diverse jobs, interact with other cultures, even from our countries. ❤I'm super amazed with Eiza. She had gone so far in her career and always improving herself. Her Mom is from my hometown,Caborca,Glenda, and I met Eiza when she was a kid. While she was visiting her Grandma, I used to work next door in a store, also her Grandma was renting the property to my boss, and all I can say they are very humble and nice people.

Just watching this movie now, she's really awesome in it. Not a perfect English accent but a very good one, would be impressive even for an American to get that close but even more so for a non native English speaker. And she kinda carries the movie (one who stars Henry Cavill btw). A lot of people didn't like her in 3 Body Problem but I think it was just not the best role for her, in this movie you can very easily see she's a star.
