is there any "True Rune" like Suikoden which held by MC (ally) and enemy ?? i think primal lenses is more like in a tool or device is it

Primal Lense is by far the story rn close to true rune in terms of power. Rune Lense here is close like inner Potential and growth. each lense has different capabillity to fit how much rune you can fit there. MC like Nowa have like 7 Slot of rune in his lense but 3 is fixed. Its just that Lense here not really a mysterious as Rune in Suikoden. because in Suikoden most true rune able to choose their owner, feels more special than unlocking your inner true potential. thats why Lense here is lacking of lore. the antagonis just wanna primal lense because its held masive amount of energy like nuclear. the 'mystic' part what is Rune lense about not really being discover that far. ps: also Rune itself is plot driven for the story. like in ever suikoden story, they move around the Rune and the user. Soul Eater, Bright shield and black sword, True basic elemental rune, Punishment Rune, Sun Rune.

Pretty much sums it up. Also, even though it is only a theory, perhaps we get more Lore when the sequel drops or maybe in the DLC stories too. My theory however is, the technology advances and Regules become common or a trend, maybe even modified to have common folks use Lenses in the future.

Am i the only one that feels like the Pooby attack is a reference to Puffy from Grandia 1?

I need help how do I get rune lenses, like I cant use runes on reyna it says activate rune lense and I read something about crafting them at a forge but I can't find anything like that. Plz help me

Have you equipped / changed Reyna's runes? I do not think i encountered something like that. Reyna has the following Rune-Lens slot 2* all types 3* enhance 2* enhance 2* magic Try going to a rune shop and equip her with runes, you can also use the storage (Sumire) at your HQ to change runes, the option is under Gear prep. > Change Runes Hope this helps.

@kairiegaming I'm gonna try again but nah nothing so far and the old guy with the spear I equipped a rune and it said the same thing activate rune lense and all I can find online is something about the rune forge where you can craft lenses u less that's a different game

Rune forge, if not mistaken that must be the forge from rising. I am really unsure what that is, what rune did you give? Perhaps that might provide me a clue.

Thanks! You just forgot Lam's rune after her transformation she gains an upgrade of her qi transformation but she must have 3sp before transforming

Can't argue with that, I built her as Physical, though I read that you can get multiple Mage's / Warriors path, but have not had any luck farming them.

magic in the whole game is just weak and not worth to use (beside healing) compared to skills and unite attack

Hero Combo is even weaker than magic runes when used by actual mages, unless the Hero Combo used has other effects. Both Magic Runes and Hero Combos feel kinda underwhelming to be honest.

Fair point, also, the rune combo in suikoden is not present in this game. Although it has higher tier magic compared to suikoden.

if not mistaken, cheap shot is a 4* rune lens, try looking for someone who has skill / all type that is 4*, 1 example i can think of is Leene, as she is practically all type rune.

I hope in 2nd sequel/series the MC is Primal Lens user just like suikoden MC user 1 of true runes/Child true runes

If they would bring back true runes, the need to deepen the lore of rune-lenses. Since there are already 3 Level elements per rune-lens. Maybe if they expanded on the story towards rune-lenses and runebarrows.

There is no actual lightning rune like in suikoden series, but lightning was inside the wind rune-lens.

skill runes are so underwhelming wtf, same attack animation every one of them, so disapointed

Yeah, skill runes only add status effect on normal attacks, no animation at all which is saddening.

Yes the game might look old school JRPG, but that is the beauty of it. And I say the game delivered that nostalgic feeling of its predecessor.
