Glad you did the back to back reaction. Gives it so much more meaning. Eivor is on of the artist I did find though youtube reactions. She is a stunning singer. You should also look into the songs she sings in het native tongue. She is from the Faroer Islands. And yes I also thought about Terry Prachett, when I saw Death. Read al of his discworld books. Great writer.

Wow!!!!! Haunting!!!The video reminds me of the movie Rocket Gibraltar. Maybe she is making peace with death, or begging to be taken as the pain of loosing someone is too unbearable. Also, near death experiencers talk about how restrictive the body feels after being freed for a time (although time is an illusion). If you take the supernatural out of the video, then the theme of depression and loneliness remains. The woman's mother dies and there is no one else in her life. She lives lonely and secluded with her thoughts and believes that death would be better until she finally takes her own life.

The music video is a cut down version of a short movie, called True Love. And get this, the short movie is based on Eivør's song. Aaand Eivør herself has a part in the movie too.

...yes, in the long extended film version (honestly, I didn't it enjoy it so much, because of the lack of this beautiful music there...) - most tragic moment was that the "newly appointed death" came after this girl and had no mercy towards this guy and took the girl away.....
