I can't believe that I just found Eivor. Some of the best music I've heard in years and I feel like I've been missing out!

Both are absolutely fantastic. When all the elements of musicality, natural ability, tone and dedication align, then musicians such as these are on a level where we can only pick our favourites, not the best.

One of best voices to appear in the past twenty years - she's THAT good. Her music is so seemingly simple, yet so full of heart felt meaning and emotion - listeners get pulled into another universe when she starts to sing. I find everything she produces fascinating.

How can someone sing so perfectly? It's better than a studio recording.

People, the Faroese version of this particular song isn't titled "Slør" but is really "Silvitni"

"Slør" is the Danish translation of the word "veil" in English. It refers to the meaning of "something" that covers you up, disguises you - if you will. "Silvitni" is the Faroese word for "veil" ("slør"). I am Danish myself, but do not speak Faroese, even though I have many relatives that either lives on - or has lived on - the Faroese Islands. It is the same the other way around. I cannot speak Faroese, but I understand everything they say or write. I do not know why that is.

This acustical version is magnificent, beautiful, amazing. I prefer it to the original one. More tender, more fit to the words sang. Provides the intimate and personal feelings it expresses in the lyrics. More passionate. Love it. I would have released this song this way. Again, magnificent

How does this not have millions of hits? This song is incredible. First time listening to this. Eivor you are sooo talented. Don't ever stop.

Her singing is literally unbelievable. I have never heard even as good. The control, transitions, pitch and voice that sounds like she has vocal chords of pure silk.

So much better then the usual pop stars. Celine Dion, Adele, Eivor are THE BEST voices out there.

This is a gorgeous and beautiful version of one of my favourite songs on the original version of Slor. I found myself both smiling and getting choked up while listening to this version.
