The reason we advise against sailing to the Faroe Islands. Eivør is a Siren and while we Norwegians are known to be hard to mesmerise - when we are, we will dive in.

Eivør is in a class all her own. Beautiful.

I'm absolutely in love with this song. When Eivør sang the chorus, her voice it reminded me somehow of Kate Bush, while not loosing its uniqueness. Ásgeir's voice is absolutely beautiful as well, very soothing. The harmonizations are everything.

Agreed!! Kate is my favorite, and that's what attracted me to Eivor's music. I had the opportunity to experience Eivor live in Portland, OR a few years ago and she is a mesmerizing performer.

What an exceptional and haunting piece of art! Like everything made and interpreted by Eivor! It is like introducing you to an unspoiled kingdom of melancholy... Love it from the first note! This cinematic music video though really takes it off... Love from Greece 🇬🇷💙🇫🇴🇮🇸

Ásgeir is an Icelandic singer, he can't speak Faroese ... However I agree, it would be great to have a version with Eivör singing in Faroese and Ásgeir in Icelandic !
