there was an experiment in which some rats were taken to the space,their age rate was faster than that ones on earth....

I didn't understand that if time is not a matter, then why it is assumed as "bend" or "curved". Please let me know

Pl explain the effect of slowing down of time due to space time curvature on ageing process. Can the space time curvature slow down ageing or the arrival of death on account of wear tear of the body due to old age.? I think that a man inside the space time curve can't experience the effect but a man away from the curve may observe or mathematically determine the effects of space time curve. Besides you may also elucidate how is the passage of time quantified inside the space time curvature.?

Spacetime tells matter to move and matter tells spacetime to curve. There is misconception that matter directly create curvature of space but according to Einstein, it is energy and momentum which bends the spacetime through mass of matter.

If lift is moving downwards with g and then the appearant weight of that man should be zero....bt u said he feels gravity....plz explain sir ....plz...

Due to curvature of spacetime, light has to take a long path to travel to reach. This spacetime curvature which bends the space due to it's mass is know as Gravity in geometry.
