WITHOUT these boys, the NBA may not be what it is today. It was NOT doing good financially in the mid 70's, PERIOD. Games were NOT televised live. You could watch them tape delay at 10:30 after the news. You tried not to see what happened, who won so you could pretend it was live. Larry and Magic coming in 1980 elevated the leagues popularity right away. It was AMAZING, then Michael Jordan took it to INCREDIBLE heights. Most of the BULLS road games were sold out with MJ in Chicago. It was so fun to watch back then.

I think part of the issue is that a lot of them seem unwilling to change things about their game, rim height as an example, to make their games more exciting. They want fans to like their games as is rather then them conforming the game to what the fans actually like. It’s what the NBA’s done, the MLB, NFL, even NHL. They figure out what the customer likes and then change rules and standards to better fit it. WNBA doesn’t seem to want to budge and it’s hurting them financially.
This began many years ago when their parents failed to teach them a sense of decency and school programs who let them get away with everything with no accountability from the time they showed talent in middle school.
