Good god it’s a relief to see a video from a digi about capture one that isn’t ‘this is how you change the exposure on images’

You should make more videos about digitech since it's so rare to find digitech related info!

I'm primarily a photographer but am tech headed, so I get asked to tech for my photographer friends sometimes. I've been using capture one professionally for a long time, I'm not an expert by any means, but I'm very comfortable with the software, shortcuts, troubleshooting, etc. But I just learned some things I never knew from you vid. Thanks for the info and knowledge! I also appreciate how great your video production is and especially how cleanly and concisely you convey everything without a bunch of filler, intros, outros, blah, blah. Much respect!

when you have all the images selected cpt 1 generates previews for every single file, therefore processor speed takes a hit

What about seeing an image for compare variant that is in another folder while shooting?

Unfortunately that is not currently possible, and I would really like capture one to add this feature. My current workaround is to command+drag to copy the image into the other folder, or to set up a smart album that will show images from both folders (I usually use the display Name field for this since I almost always include folder names in my file names)
