Rip Battiato (the man in the chorus)
"The music around me don't touch me no more, I can't feel the vibe" perfectly sums up my feelings of most new pop and rap artists, but of course Eiffel 65 is an exception because they are indeed awesome

The guy who sings is Franco Battiato. The song says: I'm looking for a permanent center of gravity, that will never make me change my opinion about the things and about the people. I should have a permanent centre of gravity. Eiffel 65 commercialized the techno-music (recognize it from a big bass with not really a very fast rythm) using their electronic voice a style used by many Djs. Techno music is very popular in Italy. Hope you enjoyed the comment. Peace to all of you.

And as of currently, they look quite dated but I don't mind, for back in the time I imagine this must've been pretty advanced at the time, especially for such a small project like a music video. And nowadays the dated visuals honestly gives it more of a charm to the video and intentionally plays into the themes really well! Reminds me of an old PS2 game.
