asalamualkum Aisha, I know that traveling can be very difficult especially when you are so far away from your family. I want you to know that i truly understand how lonely it can be living away from home because I am in a similar situation as you. That being said I think what you are doing is amazing. To be a practicing Muslim in a Japan cannot be easy. Your presence as a muslimah in a country where the vast majority aren't muslim is appreciated Allah inshAllah. I have one question for you, and I hope that you answer this question in hopes that more people will do what your doing. I think that one reason muslims are afraid to go to non-muslim countries, like japan, are because they are afraid of where will they pray, will there job be accepting of them as muslims and being in a society where islam isn't as settled as it is in Canada, USA, or England. How do you deal with all of this? I'm sorry this is a really long question but I myself wanted to go to non-muslim countries but i was reluctant because of some of these reasons. Please shed some light:)
