It’s good to hear about how the old Russians are slightly different, I’ve read a lot about how despite the circuit being more or less the same the component values aren’t all the exact same throughout the Russian’s life cycle. The reissue is all I need, they did an amazing job with it! I stack a klon style od in front to boost the mids and add some of the high end back, and I play a Tele

I would love to, but I'm missing a few so it would be an incomplete line up! I'd hate to not do it properly so we'll have to wait until I get hold of a few more...

I just got the same pedal yesterday! Tall Font Green Russian with the Civil War style knobs and rubber feet on the bottom. Still with the original box as well....goddamn it sounds amazing!

@@cupofjoe1984 It's amazing. I didn't know that the Tall font had the same insides as the Civil War and Red Army Overdrive. The Bubble Font is when the sound really started to change.

@@purrsnickety8269 Yeah, it's a bit of crap shoot, really. Ive had 2 or 3 of each and they all sound slightly different, but that could be more down to age of the components more than anything. I think the reissue does a great job of capturing the flavour. Something about all the old originals, like so much of this old gear, that just has some inspirational mojo.

Nice Video. Stomp Under Foot is the Muff master. I think you would be really impressed.

Thanks! SUF make great stuff, agreed. I've had a Skreedy Pig Mine for a long time and it's so good I've never felt any need to consider anything else!
