I recommend going with a tour guide especially if you’re going to historical sights and museums!
@arianney- do you mind sharing the guides you’d recommend? my husband and I will be there in November and covering the same itinerary except with a Nile cruise. I want to book the hotels independently but really just want a tour guide and car.

Yes, EGP and our credit card! I don’t remember I think I brought $800 and exchanged there
What is the requirements to get visa and how much your budget to go egypt for 2 weeks

USD 25 for the visa and 300 USD for 2 weeks.
How did you do all That in one week with 3hrs drive everywhere… my plan is to spend one week between caigo, Luxor and Alexandria… flying

Took the plane from Cairo to Aswan. Drove from Aswan to Luxor. And then flew from Luxor back to Cairo!
