Egypt's Luxor Temple and Valley of the Kings: Best Things To Do! 🇪🇬

We started Luxor, Egypt, by enjoying a hot air balloon ride at sunrise (which flew us over the Valley of Kings and the West Bank of Luxor), and then, we had the pleasure of touring Karnak, Luxor Temple, and Valley of the Kings with an egyptologist. The amount of history Luxor held was mind-blowing and endless, and the history lesson continues as we head further south along the Nile River and venture more of Egypt! 🇪🇬

Your videos are super cool. Glad to see you in Luxor. Just returned from my 16th stay there. I usually stay near in an apartment not far from your accommodation. I really like the Westbank. We are so comfortable there and we are close to everything. An important note: please do not touch any walls in the temples and do not lean against the walls. If you knew what damage tourist rubbing, fingerprints and even more backpack rubbing cause...these are slow, serious and irreversible damages that get worse day after day. It is something that is truly painful to see for anyone who knows this places well and for anyone working to restore and preserve them. It wouldn't occur to you to touch the Mona Lisa or lean against works of art in museums, so why do you do it in Egypt...? even more in Luxor, which is called the largest open-air museum in the world? the temples and tombs there are much older than most works of art in museums. 3 or 4000 years, it has to ne respected and we are all responsible so that the following generations can see all that in a correct state. So, don't touch anything at all and be careful of the rubbing of the bags. Good continuation of discovery of Luxor

Very nice video. You are lucky because some years ago, some tombs of the Valley of the Kings were closed to tourists. Amazing places. Don't know how they could build those huge columns at Luxor.

C & C! I've been riding along...still a bit stuffed from the food, a bit snoozy from the train and now we're going through history. Which I enjoy. The enigma of similarities between Egyptians and the culture with Central/South America makes you a thinker. It's amazing and sad to realize how advanced societies truly were only to be stifled and shelved due to other pieces within that complete history. Anyhoo, the food looks great but I bet it's no Kabob-ster! (LOL). Keep up the good work! Cheers! 🍺
