I got my dad to quit alcohol and he has been sober for 3 weeks now and I just want people to pray for him because I know it’s hard for him to quit something that he has been doing for years. I’d really appreciate if people would pray for him that would help.

I'm 15. God saved me from suicide when I was going through an awful spiritual attack from Satan. Thank you, Lord! I owe my life to Him.

Several months ago, I decided to return to church after 40 years and living as an Agnostic. A few days later, I came to church mentally spent and had earlier contemplated suicide. The worship team sang this song and it brought me to my knees in tears. I re-dedicated my life to Christ that day.

They manage as an ex Atheist I can honestly say that is one of the most ignorant and insulting things you can say to someone who doesn't believe. It is like saying you can be a good person with out God which is not true I have many friends who are not believes and they are nice people. I had a dark night of the soul when my brother passed unexpectedly. I had thought my faith unshakable at that point, but I found out how fragile in not the case. I was so upset at what I percieved a great injustice that could of been prevented by God & of course the enemy takes advantage our mortal limitations. Slowly in the questioning a bitter resentment arose in my heart. I said things like all these miserable, evil people who do nothing but bad, are allowed to live & my brother is taken. He was ready to retire & enjoy the fruits of his labor it seemed so unfair. Months later after time went on where I had literally turned my back on God, I would instinctively go to pray from habit then something welled up inside blocking it. Then things began to come out later & as time went on I felt lonely in lost. Strange to say thought I attempted to abandon my Faith, forcing it away, it never felt God to abandon me. I was drawn as if by a gravitational pull to the Holy Spirit. I could feel God's Presence near me, just out of bounds, seeming to be just waiting. Finally when the grief lessened & so many things came out my perspective began to tentatively change. Truth is I couldn't shut God out, it just didn't flow, it was worse than facing the unknown and working thru it. So sad & lonely the reaches of the human heart in despair. I couldn't resist His advances & the sadness without Him & God led me to know certain passages in scripture that explained the situation & my understanding grew & I accepted His Will be done on earth, as it in Heaven. Now I look forward to seeing my brother again such consolation. God is trustworthy in the storm, for He knows best for us all though we may think we do, our mortal sight is so limited. I feel my brother is at peace & has joy, with happiness at last that couldn't be found here at earth & look forward to a Blessed reunion with God's assurances He is Faithful at all times. Amen.

In October 2019, my uncle died. In December 2020 a lady from my church who was a grandma to me died after a surgery incident. Then in June, my baby sister was born early. She was doing so well. The doctors and nurses were amazed and said it was a miracle, but a brain infection slipped through, and she didn't make it. In December 2020, I had to have scoliosis correction surgery. Now I have big metal rods in my back, but God in my heart. I'm turning 14 next month. I praise God for getting me though those hard times. God works in bad situations. When my sister died, we decided to adopt and now have the cutest and sweetest baby on earth. God is amazing hallelujah 🙌🙏

I spent 7 years on depression. I never thought i would make out of it. Dealing with suicidal thoughts and self-harm everyday. I thought life was all about it. In the beginning of the year, i started to seek mental and spiritual help. It was hard and scary, but i was able to overcome. I'm another person. God took me out of my Egypt by the hand. I'm walking in freedom. Fear and sadness can't have me anymore. I remember during a service throughout this whole process when someone prayed over me, declaring freedom over my life and this song started playing in my head. I'm free. Thank you, Jesus!

My husband of 32 years is fighting his second round of an aggressive form of cancer. I spent this morning visiting him in the hospital. He has a difficult journey ahead to recover. well what God has to say doesn't change! main stream music is the most repetitive music there is! so is most rap and rock and heavy metal. I've listened to it all. Yet God's word can be in a song with a similar message, yet gives a new perspective everytime. if u dont like it you dont have to listen 😝 Marcus Rodgers deeper waters is an awesome album or sevin somebody lied to us if u like rap or Lacey strum if you like alternative rock or august burns red if u like metal or skillet for electronic heavy rock theres heaps out there theres many different styles of Christian music you have to search for it tho. but when I listen to this I'm listening so I can give praise to the creator!

Emotionally abused sense age 11 and got out of in last September. God never stopped fighting for me even when I felt like he did. I was pushed aside, not giving the chance to share my opinion, neglected at some times, I have nightmares still to this day about those things. I am working towards feeling free as well as being physically free. Now I live with other family,surrounded by new church family, I have a lot of healing to do but I know that God will deliver me fully one day. Being patient is the hard part. Please pray for me.

In retrospect I see when I was my Egypt & had been for years, praying & asking for deliverance. Then one day God stepped into my Egypt, took me by the hand & led me to the promised land. I've never looked back. That was 35 years ago. These words sum up God's rescue of me & my children.

Ive been Born Again for nearly 50 years. Beem through Police and Military Service, Fatherhood and Marriage. Through trials and triumphs...... Few if any pieces of music have struck me and my Beloved the way this song has. It makes my Soul soar, and renews my Faith..... Prayers for ALL listening!!

Always remember what he's already done for us. He will never leave you where you're at, he's got something more for you.

Every time I feel down I put this song on & it really helps encourage me & remind me that God is here for us, there is hope ❤ Thank you

This is something I sing when I get fired from a job, when I don’t hear from my family for years, when I am ridiculed by the secular world, after a car accident, when I’ve been sober from drugs and alcohol, when I’ve been rejected by others, when my past relationships failed, when I may feel depressed or lonely, when I lose opportunities, and when My dad passes away due to cancer. The list goes on...he’s brought me out of Egypt and into the promised land. Praise Yah, glory be to the most high. My hands are still lifting up and my knees are still dropping to the ground.

I used to think that God won't heal me from my sickness; a very disturbing sickness that had been haunting me since my childhood. Today? I'm healed :)

This song always helps me feel better. Thank you Jesus for giving the gift of music.

I was not a christian last week. I had done so many bad things and had got my phone taken away. My parents sent me to a christian summer camp for a week and I can say it was the best week of my life. I'm saved now and I was baptized in the river with many other teens. On the last night at the alter God spoke to me. He wanted me to speak to everyone at the camp about what happened the day before camp and he said that someone would come speak to me about it and say it helped them, and sure enough that's what happened and I saved someone's life. What happened the day before camp though was that I almost committed suicide. I was crying and playing with my pocket knife and I said aloud "God I was to put this knife in my chest right now. If your real, if your there for me and listening to me send a sign. If your not done with me yet then send me a sign. Even if it's just my cat pawing at the door" and in less than a minute my dad came into my room. I talked to him after I came back from camp and told him why I was crying and that I almost killed myself and what I said to God. He told me the reason he came into my room is because something was telling him that he needed to go in there and that something was wrong. God is so great and God will always be there for you. You just need to communicate with him and need to worship him.

Can't believe this didn't capture more attention. "Even if it's just my cat pawing at the door", I noticed in moments of depression I kept hid, stranger's pets would bother me. I needed to read, "You just need to communicate with him and need to worship him" (Proverbs 27:21).

@@JustSean714 Animals can always sense when something is wrong, whether mentally or physically. One of our bird hunting dogs, Rusty, can sense when something is wrong. When I've had panic attacks he'll come and lay his head across me and just snuggle into me, he'll even put his paws around my waist and his head over my shoulder quite literally giving me a hug. I think sometimes we believe that it's just the animal wanting attention or bothering us out of boredom. But I honestly think that it's God showing us that he's there for us, because sometimes we need to be shown physically when it's hard to believe so mentally. Just like how sometimes I forget squirrels exist bc I never see them where I live, and then I visit family and remember bc one will run right through my feet lol. We just need a little reminder sometimes that God is real and that he's here for us no matter what

Realizing now the power of believing that you are saved. I suffered in silence for the longest time obsession , porn, and a number of other sins. What I realized is that I believed in God, but I doubted Gods power to fully work on my behalf in my life, so I did not see the fruits of my prayer and repentance. Trust and belief is so strong.

We are here because my 9 year old miracle child (delivered at 24 week gestation) asked to hear "your the God who fights for me." Hallelujah.
