Just call your council and tell them you are seeing rats and snakes in the grass and they will be there pronto. I wasn't sure if I should buy the snipper and blower, but they look and perform pretty decent. I have the Ego power + mower and it kicks arse. Thanks for uploading this one mate.

Thank for posting: I was hovering between this and the next model up but this'll easily do what I need. Amazing how far all this stuff has come. All best from the U.K. 🙂

It’s been so many years since I posted and I have really ABUSED this poor thing and it still surprises me just how much power this thing has. It takes a lot to stall it, never regretted my purchase.

Can I buy and install a saw?

hey mate, I'm thinking about getting the 38cm version of this. Whats the real world run time like with 2.5ah battery? Thanks

Ruchira hi there. I don't actually know what the run time is with the 2.5Ah because I have a 1.2 acre lot to snip and it takes me about an hour or so to do everything and the 2.5Ah battery lasts for all that time. I then just keep it in the shed for another few weeks uncharged. But I did flatten the 2.5 battery for the first time ever snipping for a friend who's yard had grass over 4 feet tall. I hacked away and used so much line it was rediculous. Anyway I think I got a bit over an hour or so. So then I put the 7.5Ah battery on, and it lasted another 40 minutes then I mowed the whole yard on it as well. I'd say an hour in real world use. Coming from a little 2 stroke it's really weird, this trimmer has 2 speeds, hi and low but I thought low would be useless but it does save power but even at the lower speed it doesn't bog down anywhere near like my old petrol trimmer. It's so bloody torquey.

Thomas James thanks for the information :-) Looks like 2.5ah for me will do the job. I was tossing between ego and the honda 4 stroke umk425 and wasn't going to bother with 2 strokes at all. For the moment I'm leaning towards Ego :-)
