An egg has to be fertilized by a rooster for the egg to develope into a chicken. If not fertilized then the egg ends up being like the ones you buy at a store. Some places on earth eat fertilized eggs that don’t reach full maternity. In the Philippines it’s known as balut.

Soooo.... how many yolks are attached? Do new yolks grow as old yolks become eggs? Is there an infinite amount of yolks that just pop up? Does the hens mood play a role?? 😂😂
