Exactly the vid I needed when about to chow down on home raised eggs (of a friend’s)🙌. I’m a bit squirrelly about eating potentially spoiled food lol, so I’d rather test things on occasion rather than just bet on it 😄. The eggs I’m cooking now are at the 2-3 weeks stage. Thanks for the educational and quality share🙌.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I just tossed out over a dozen good eggs because I wasn't sure. I'd rather do that than take even the smallest chance when giving them to my kids, but now I know for sure so thank you 😊

LOL! So here's another trick. Hold the egg up to your ear and shake it. If you can feel things moving around, it's not a fresh egg.

Most likely. I would just crack each one into a small bowl to make sure it looks and smells okay. You will be able to tell a bad egg immediately

Eggs will keep longer if you coat entire egg with mineral oil, this will prevent air from getting inside.

I'm not a fan of using mineral oil. Eggshells are porous and I don't want to be eating mineral oil.
