Egbo and beans go together perfectly. This meal brings back lots of nostalgia of Ile-Ife of the 80's.

This use to be one of my favorite food when I was a kid. Love it.

This makes me remember my childhood,my mom used to cook egbo like white rice and beans, wooroo for both and make a stew ,very nice , I will cook it soon and I will also cook ekuru .

It’s called samp if you’re outside of Nigeria. If you’re in Nigeria you can ask people in major Yoruba markets for egbo or find out what’s called in other tribes.
