Love how you agree that not every coaster has too be 'Worlds tallest' 'Worlds fastest' 'Worlds longest' etc etc If a ride has a solid layout with a creative backstory that pulls you into the theme, it can often rank higher than many of the record breakers

The Efteling is a family park, no absolute thrill-rides here, they really don't need them. The Efteling makes up with fantastic theming and a "vibe" that is hard to beat or compare. Like you said in your vlog, The Efteling makes you happy, makes you feel wonderful and a child again and at the end of the day you feel sad that the day is over already, and I think that is how it SHOULD be! Thumbs up from The Netherlands, I subscribed, and I am curious if you will ever visit The Efteling again!

Always excited to watch a new vlog about the beloved theme park that all Dutch people take pride in. Efteling may not be known for super-special rides or giant, heart-pounding roller coasters, but the theming and attention to detail are simply astonishing. It's like a theme park mixed with a nature reserve, all wrapped up in a gigantic fairy tale. The entire park is super clean, incredibly immersive, and entertaining for both young and old. They go the extra mile to maintain beloved attractions, from simple posts and signs to trash cans, and they replace things that need to go with the coolest possible replacements. They even make necessary adjustments as cool as can be. My absolute favorite ride in terms of theming and storytelling has to be The Flying Dutchman. The most thrilling one? Baron 1898. The most magical? Symbolica. The most fun? George and the Dragon. But if there's one ride that fills me with wonder every time, it's Dream Flight. The world you journey through, mixed with the music, truly makes it feel like you're in a dream. Oh, and I'm sure many others will agree with me on this, the most annoying part has to be the waiting times. It's a shame because, for teenagers like me, the wait often feels less and less worth it. But interests change, that's just how it goes. I'll always cherish the memories of Efteling and the time spent there with my family and friends. I'll forever be proud of how the park has evolved and I'm curious to see what surprises they have in store for us next.

Loved your reactions! Efteling is a gem. But I can’t believe you spent two nights at the Efteling Hotel and only visited the park one day. A stay at the resort includes entry on all your days, including arrival and check-out days. Do 2 nights, means 3 days at the park. And you get extra early entry too. Hope you get back and see the parts you missed: Villa Volta, Raveleijn show, the steam carrousel from 1895, the land of the Laaf people (monorail area), gondoleta, piranha and little things like the diorama and the oude tuffer. Will certainly watch again! Btw, Polle’s Keuken, means Polle’s kitchen. Polle is a name of the character from symbolica that is a cook.

@@cruiseandcoasters you were right about spending more days. We once went for 5 days and did not feel it was too much. Don’t forget to book the Caro show on your next visit. It is very special. I recommend staying at Bosrijk or Loonsche Land, or the new Grand hotel they are building now.

Efteling is a family oriented park so most coasters are less wild as of that :D but they are amazing dont need to be the fastests, highest and all that. And fata morgana is basicly one of the oldest rides in the park and is based 1001 nights.

Oh i really loved to see these park videos. Efteling is our number one park. We are so spoiled with this one, that every other park is just below expectations. The Efteling is pretty good in there overal theming, the food is good and not expencive. I've heard that you guys didnt figure out what Fata Morgana is, is an forbiden city darkride. And did you know that the imagineers from Disney came to the Efteling when they want to build Disneyland Paris?

Hi there! Great video. I like the fact that the profile of the rides doesn't go over the treeline. Similar to Alton Towers in that respect. OK, you don't get the goofy drops which is rather silly. I think I could cope in this park. The price is pretty reasonable I hear, so just turn up for the lovely scenery and accidentally fall into some cars for some rides! Dx

You're right, Efteling is best experienced in two days. And for a first stay over, the Efteling Hotel is definitely the way to go. If you like theming you should definitely check that one out as well at some point. I've been going to Efteling since I was 6 years old, and I still love going there to this day, thirty years later. Every time I go there I just become this little excited six year old again (just with a lot less stamina these days), happy to see the rides, the theming, hear the music, and listen to the fairytales. The dark rides can be a lot. Half the time I have no clue what is going on either, but the scenery is always beautiful. Droomvlucht is my favorite ride. I'm biased, because it's the first ride I ever went on as a kid, so it'll always hold a special place in my heart just for that. We had no clue where to go on our first trip, and we stumbled upon Droomvlucht, saw people standing in line and were like 'eh, might as well see what's going on here...' and as soon as we were on the ride I knew this was going to be a magical day. And it's still the one ride I never skip when going to Efteling.

@@cruiseandcoasters Lol, you were. But the best part of the Efteling is the character O. J. Punctuel, the lackey of Symbolica you'll see in the pre-show. There are animatronics of him, but he also used to be a meet-and-greet character. There is a very popular video of him where Pardoes is teasing him, look it up. It's one thr first videos you'll find if you just search for his name. The funniest part of that video is from 4:44 to 7:26.

Hey guys, what an amazing Vlog! I watched it from beginning till end. Efteling is my "home park" since I only live about 30 minutes from it and it pleases me... and thats an understatement to see how much fun you guys had! Like you already stated Efteling is not about the biggest, longest or highest, it's more about being unique in a very very particular style. Liek you stated it's very difficult to understand what Fata Morgana is all about. Mainly because there is no real story! The developers decided this ride would be best if it had a 1001-nights atmosphere. Ofcourse there are some hints and clue's about the rough story but it's up to your own interpretation to decide the story you just experienced. Hope to see you guys back here again sometime soon! Or at least when Danse Macabre has opened up!
