This video is a snippet from a rehearsal session we decided to share with the public in commemoration of Ghana’s “Heritage Month Celebration” as part of our remembrance of our[Ghana’s] Independence.This session particularly focused on music of Ghanaian origin mainly from the hi-life genre.

    These guys can play, tight horn section, guitar, drums, bass, keyboard, percussion and wonderful vocals. This is how music should be played. Viva Africa 🌍 ❤ ♥ 👏

    I keep telling people Africa has music. I mean soul to soul and sweet music yet to conquer the world. Love love love high life music. Only a matter of time. Singing in your original music keeps the music and feelings authentic since its in the DNA of the people that play it. Why copy when you have all these rich heavenly sound…keep playing and getting better. Share your roots with the world. Bravooooo 🇨🇲 🇺🇸

    Well done guys, am a Nigerian and I see similarity in Nigerian high life music and Ghanaian, you are doing a great job, please keep it up, your music reminds me of 60s and 70s highlife genre.

    To revive highlife again to the highest level I suggest there should be a national highlife competition among bands around the country and if possible among school bands as well.
