Interesting video, main issue is the camera is moving around way too much. Makes it very hard to actually see parts used and how you put them in.

You can get the blueprint and look at it as much as you need, it's linked in the description Pausing is also an option

@@DanSher the shaking of the camera makes it an absolute pain to watch your videos. bad forbuisiness.
The trick you showed, copy-pasting the ship onto the projector is genious. How have i never thought of this myself ❤
Really nailed that industrial feel. I really like it😊
Another nice design man, I was always quite impressed with what you could do without any DLC but some of the DLC blocks are just soooo nice. I own all of them and have been using a lot of modded blocks too lately, endless creative potential. P.S. Also mad respect for the Asymmetry.
Love your design here but it has a broken thruster or two, spot light damaged and cockpit is too also some random blocks but isn't an issue in survival just noticed it in creative :)

Huh, weird, will check the blueprint next time I play, maybe it got saved with damage states, though the question then is how did it get damaged in the first place
Good content. I really like the whole progression of building up the ship from the core onwards. However, with the constant cuts in the video jumping around, it started to honestly give me a bit of a headache. I'd be looking at one part of the ship and suddenly the video would cut. I can appreciate wanting to edit your commentary down but if you do so, I would encourage you to do the video and commentary separate and then combine them afterwards.

Separately recording video and audio would be a bit annoying, I'll just try to move less so the cuts aren't as jumpy and get better at speaking so there are less cuts that need to be made

@@DanSher Fair enough. I appreciate you taking it into consideration, however you hope to improve.
While horizontal ships are fun, I find them useful only in space. For planets I started building my miners vertical (in the direction of the gravity) and I have never built a horizontal miner since. Just give it a try... For miners that will work both in space and planets I create a vertical ship but have multiple cockpits. So the ship will have equally strong reverse and up lift.

The ores are distributed horizontally in the deposit, you can easily dig out a vertical hole while you're empty, but you need to mine the deposit horizontally, unless your miner is large enough to mine it in a single vertical hole

Horizontal miner can also save some components and power. Most vertical miners need enough thrusters to lift full load on 2 directions (upwards and backwards). More thrusters = more weight = even more thrusters = more power consumption = more batteries = more bulk (+ lots of drills and "ugliness"). Also, vertical miners needs to drill through a lot of dirt and stone just to mine a thin layer of ore. And if you want to mine more, you need another hole through that junk again. It's better to drill one hole to the right depth and then mine the vein horizontally. You can absolutely make wonderful vertical miner with two cockpits or remote control to achieve same thrust:cargo ratio, but horizontal miners are more convenient.

@@themoss7115 yeah, generally you want to have a single main thrust direction (upwards in pretty much all cases) and have only enough thrust in other directions for smaller velocity adjustments while performing larger maneuvers by rotating the ship

@@themoss7115 I think I understand. If I am to stay only on the planet it is better to have a horizantal miner because of the way the veins are. Thin but large diameter cylinder vs the asteroids where they are Cylindrical in shape smaller diameter but longer in length. And when in Space the vertical and horizantal really means nothing :) This is quite a different approach from how I play and its exciting... This is exactly why I love Space Engineers so much. Change just variable and its a whole new game...
Pretty cool ship, only gripe i have is it seems to have lacking braking thrust
@DanSher

It has plenty of backwards thrust and if you need even more, you can always just pitch up and use the spare upward thrust, more efficient and fun that way
I think my ADD got worse after watching this.

Same reason as why not small ejectors, small inventory makes them eject at a slower rate
