This Video inspired me so much back in the days when i started to mix, and motivated me to dig much deeper in the possibilities of digital djing. I tried a CDJ setup, but it kind of bores me, so in the end i stuck with my beloved traktor. Thanks for that Ean!

That's why I love the X1. Flip on HID or slot in some timecode CDs, set your laptop to the side, put the X1 beneath the mixer, and BAM. Traktor control

This video is so amazing, and pushed me deeper into the rabbithole of digital DJ-ing. Some of my DJ-friends cant understand why i still stuck to Traktor. But a CDJ-Setup seemed boring to me back in the days, and ist still does. Traktor > the poor rest

This is the part of Digital Djing that naysayers don't get ...it's my life .. can seriously have fun with That beat meatier - I studied drum & percussion for 6 years in high school and love creating polyrhythms on the fly (the hidden DUB master in me I guess) & everything gets the 'treatment' from me ... Traktor made me the DJ I always wanted to be - I use a Hercules DJ steel control controller & a NI DJ2 interface .. The secret is too know hen less is more ! Happy mixing kids

It's possible to use just about any midi device as a controller and there are Traktor mappings available for many popular devices -- even if it's exclusive to Serato, etc...

This is the real part of digital DJing.. And is really the fun part. Most just think DDJ is about Sync button and they are sooo wrong.

That techno fill + filter kill combination is pretty dope.You can get really crazy with some good samples and a sick tech house track. :)

i like using iceverb wormhole and gater combied with a delay n reverb to get those real side ways build ups never thought to use the fast stretch ... GREAT VID GUYS!

very informative and awesome techniques....that filter gave me another trick for my mixing....thanks a lot EAN...

It's cool to see that Djs also use stompbox effects such as boss delays, as a guitar player I also love that specifical stompbox for my sound.

If you just use the fast stretch then turn it all the way up and disable it quickly on a vocal you get this trippy nice after effect, reminded me of the matador or richie hawtin sound

ramp delay is excellent on TSP2. Will experiment with fast stretch although not totally convinced it adds much to an already dope effect.
