I'm subscribed to a Lot of Detailing channels and I got to say your the Best Practical Detailer out there, by Far.....Great Job as always👍.......Greetings from Ghana, West Africa🤗🤗

I remember when your only options were products that looked great when they were applied, but that first rainstorm would wash the stuff off and back to the terrible look all the trim would go. Now we have all these choices of products to use and your trim can look great for a long time. This product reminds me of Renu Finish. I used to use Wipe New and that worked better than most of the products out there at the time.

Thanks for the great content! I would love a short update video on the longevity of this trim restorer.

Love this stuff. I’ve been using it for a couple years- on trim it lasts about a year (in Florida here). On tires it lasts a few months with 2 coats. I usually use a coat of Black followed by a coat of Glos and the tires look fantastic (so does the trim!). My CX-5 trim looks brand new even at 5 years old.

Forever Black is the best one I've tried to date that actually makess the trim black and lasts a very long time.

I use that also and works well! I have the Dash but havent used it yet since I think it makes the dash to shiny

Your a fountain of info love your videos I have heard so much.

Very interested in this product..perfect timing!! I will be doing a paint enhancement on some badly faded construction equipment tomorrow..(single stage on fiberglass) The fronts of the machines are all black plastic and badly faded as well....they sit outside 24/7 😬.. If the plastics show more damage than that of front bumper in video you may want to try heat gun trick... but be careful with that. Light gray or a white gray mean the UV has destroyed majority of pigment. Also it's a good idea to use a 3M scrub pad to remove oxidized plastic prior to RP application.... but careful on a textured finished. Nice job Brian. I did a Mini Cooper with Solution Finish that had similar results but I think with any of these products you need to add a layer of protection once cured.

Renew Protect is restoration/protection.... not an Armor All type product.

Solution Finish is not a “coating” like this one. This is a coating that will outperform Solution Finish all day.

Brian hows everything been going for u I asked you a few months ago to try this product I tried it 7 months ago and it still going strong and my car is not a garage queen CHERRS!!!!

Nice turn around. That trim needed some TLC. Saw the barn vette in the background...was that a tease for an update on its progress??? ;-)

I haven't found anything that is permanent (note I have not used this product), so I just repainted the black trim and bumpers with bumper and trim spray paint. I then let it dry and then ceramic coated it and its held up is far.

I searched and found your review on Rustoleum wipe new from 2 years ago but not heir plastic trim formula, I have found their product for black trim is reasonable in price and performs great and unlike many popular products, lasts. It claims 3 years, I gave one car still strong after 2 years in Maui, which is a winner here. I’d love to see a review of that and you opinion if you think it worthy candidate. This looks super for the money and a plus for some tires.

Wipe New is a good product which acts as a clear coat. The original maker of WN nearly bought us out before Rustoleum purchased the brand. Keep in mind Wipe New is a bit toxic so do follow all directions. BLAK is designed for restoration of the OEM surface and longevity.

Brian, where did you get your c7 hat. I looked for it at the corvette museum gift shop yesterday but I didn’t see it there among the 50 or so they had.. I just returned from a 1800 mile road trip in my c7 tonight guess what I’ll be doing all day tomorrow. .

Turned out great! How long would the final coat have to cure before you put TAC moonlight over it?

I noticed you skipped over the right side of the rear bumper at the end

would love to see renew protect vs solution finish somehow. maybe a test panel left out in the sun for durability test. thanks for the video B

Bryan, time to let people know when and where, the NEW TURTLE WAX CERAMIC IS COMING.as pan has it in Canada. Must be a bootleg, it didn't hold up against the old turtle wax, in a non cured product test. Itching for a turtle vs turtle FIGHT TO THE FINISH. have snacks and soda ready, let's roll!!!!

atf and acetone mixed 50/50 is what I use. don't use it under the hood. it will strip some of the lettering off of some of the peripherals.

Did you rinse the adams off or just let it dry?

I have been using VRT from Adams. Seems to work. I also have a bottle of VRP from Chem. Guys - Next in line after the VRT is gone.

Im thinking to buy this product but I don’t know how it will perform new vehicle . It’s fading just a tiny bit

I’m a Uk buyer and I was wondering if there is a Uk alternative because it’s going to cost me £45 per bottle to get it here.

Effective but...how it lasts I. Weather or a car wash is a big deal, I gave up on retail ones, treated my black plastics with linseed oil,. Topped with seal and shine after and several months and weather and car washes and look Great

Very impressive. Question, how can I restore the center black vertical door pillar pieces on my 03 buick lesabre? They are the ones like on many of those types of cars that get beat up and faded. I know alot of guy's put those chrome stick on pieces over them but I hate that look. Thank you.

They were very shallow and easily hid by the product.

BLAK is designed for restoration of the OEM surface, longevity of tires, plastics, vinyl.... our GLAS product would be a better comparison to that product.

NOTHING LIKE IT. BLAK is a true restoration and UV block product. NOT A SILICONE/SOLVENT product and will not damage surfaces over time and exposure.

I just used solution finish on my outback. The last time I tried it on jeep plastic, it did not hold up well. I'm hoping it does this time or it's going in the trash. Very interested in how this product holds up!

...don't apply over silicone/solvent products. Let that Armor All type stuff fully wash away before Renew Protect.

...you can follow over BLAK, GLOZ, or SATN with just about any paint sealer products.... even buff over. We recommend Renew Protect GLAS if you want a hydrophobic effect.

1 can of Krylon Fusion spray paint would make it look new and cost $6. That's what I did on my old jeep, stays perfect and looks way better than any trim restorer

A heat gun will do the same thing

If the host of this video would have used a heat gun to pull the polymers out of the plastic first and then use the product he would have had better results and quite possibly use less product... That bumper was completely thrashed before the product was used... So based off of the company this guy did not prep the bumper properly before use of product...

Save your time....use a heat gun on LOW and it pulls the oils back out and stays for years.
