Effective moduli by homogenization of stress and strain of RVE/UC by Python/Abaqus
In this video homogenization of stress and strain of RVE/UC of a random distributed composite RVE is explained. The modeling is done in Abaqus, and using a Python code effective stress and strain are calculated. Then calculating effective Moduli is explained. In this video you can find out:
1- How to request volume fraction of integration points?
2- How to calculate effective strain?
3- How to calculate effective stress?
4- How to calculate effective moduli?

@@engineering_software Thanks for the reply, so is there any way to define the cohesive behavior for this video model?
Sir, please make another video and show me a way of writing a python script on how to calculate the shear modulus from here. I didn’t understand.

To extract all the moduli we need tensile and shear simulations in all directions.
I can follow your explanation but I couldn't obtain odbAccess file. How can I get the file? Thanks.

I copied your code in this youtube video, but the error said "NameError: name 'openODB' is not defined.
