Maybe it's time for those on the panel to put their party differences aside and come out and be counted with those who stand for a better South Africa for all. Restructure our economy starting with areas I would mention below:- Railway lines in and around the country in stations like Zastron, Wepener, Aliwal North, Lady Grey and others were all closed down, why?. The economy's of those small towns crumbled. People lost jobs, communities in and around those areas began to suffer. Leading to a large number of people either moving to large cities or looking to government for handouts/grants. Tarred/Gravel roads we had in our Rural Villages were maintained regularly. But as a result of neglect, these roads are today inaccessible if not non existent. We had Windmills all over villages/farms generating water for us and our animals/stock. Bantu education system, under former Transkei, though I detested it much, (the General would attest to this) , had its own Bus manufacturing factory and Furniture factory in Butterworths, Colleges of Education, Nursing and Police were producing great Teachers, Nurses, Policemen Engineers and so on, what happened to them. People could pass a Form 1 Class and be ready for the job market, With a Form 5 certificate you could easily become a teacher/nurse/policeman/woman/army. My father and others were at least working in the Railways, Mines, Sasol, Agriculture and etc, to put food on the table for their family's. With employment all over, No adult persons could be sitting at home unemployed. Teacher Colleges like Bensonvale Teachers Training College in the former Transkei's small town of Sterkspruit, Tshiya Teacher Training College in the former Qwa-qwa (now Free State) in Phutaditshaba and others were closed down, resulting in massive shortage of teachers and a meltdown of socioeconomic standards in those areas. Our Health and Care system suffered a backdrop as a result of closure of those good Nursing Colleges in the Transkei and other places, why?. Police could manage crime with the little resources they had. Why are our police failing with so much in terms of resources. You could hardly hear of murder/s or serious crimes. In today's school system, children can't read or write proper English comprehension. Today, our children struggle to get employment (if any) though fully armed with a University/College Degree/Diploma. It will not come back to South Africa as long as policies like what the ANC and EFF propose are on the table. The investors will take their money where it is safer and protected and back pockets dont need to filled and palms greased to be able to create companies and jobs. Investors are taking their money out of this country by the billions daily. The government is bankrupt but financially and morally. Now with the threat to pensions, you will see people taking their pensions out and investing overseas in safer countries.

U are correct he is the best politician. But!! being the best politician does not give u any idea of running even a spaza shop profitably. Same with Cyril none of them ever built a company from the ground. Easy to say this or that, but a whole different story to run a real business profitably (this is what creates whealth and jobs for more people). We need jobs, u can not increase jobs while threatening free markets. If i told u that if u take land u will have economic freedom and jobs in 10 years time. How do survive for 10 years if u going to ruin your and your childrens future, with no certainty of being better of in 10 years. Take Zim for example taking white land was supposed to improve black people lives. Not in 30 years will they be better off. No politician should ever be allowed who they allocate land or property to, none of them can ever be trusted to give that land to anyone without wanting something in return. In other words they will either give that land to family or friends or to the person who gives them the highest kick back. The average poor black person will never see any of the proceeds. In Zimbabwe the poor can not even uplift themselves by stealing, because there is nothing of value left to steal.

This brings forth an economic problem and a greed problem. U as an ordinary citizen will still not get the kind of land that u desire. Once the government owns all land, they can give it to whoever they want. Friends and family will get first option on the best land. People who pay large amounts of cash under the table will get the best land. U and me are 1 in 60 million people who will get what? after the politicians took the best for themselves. Here comes the downside! IF i can not own the land i will not bother to improve the land!. Improving the land creates jobs and economic growth. This is why the unemployment has sky rocketed in the last 2 years. People with property are scared to invest and to improve on what they have at the moment. Farmers are not producing extra crops and this all affects job creation. Having land 500 km away from Johannesburg will bring u Zero $. And 50 Million people just can not all have land around the cities there is not enough. SO do we want to ruin the economy further by taking and redistributing land if u will not even be able to use the land if u get it. think carefully about the promises these politicians make, they make it only for their own benefit .

And where did that happen in Africa? Name one country where that has been a success. I have worked in 35 countries in Africa and they are all sh1t holes, dirty, broken infrastructure, corrupt officials, starving masses and yes in most cases they have thrown the white man out but many are now inviting him back to fix what they broke and cannot fix.

The issue of residential areas being owned by the state is very stupid. If I want to change my house for business purpose then I will have to do that. Why must I own a house while living in poverty while I can use the same house to make money n survive..

Somebody must inform Julius about economies of scale and outsourcing which is meant to raise productivity by specializing in goods and services we produce the most efficient. We cannot manufacture our own uniforms because China manufactures these the most efficient, so we would be setting ourselves up for failure if we were to manufacture our own uniforms instead of buying from them and selling to them what they are inefficient at producing. Populism and rhetoric scores you cheap political points but those who see through Malema know he's a politician that is merely "politicking" to earn a living and enjoy those plush state benefits.
