Investing in booster boxes is the best way to go when purely investing. Collector/investors may find value in collection boxes but for space and overall return booster boxes are the way to go.

The promos are very hard to grade but the boxes are an amazing collection piece! Nice video

I just paid $115.00 for a Towering Splash GX box with Wailord & Magikarp. I'm just a huge Wailord fan, it had nothing to do with the packs inside. Packs were 1 XY Steam Siege, 1 Sun & Moon Celestial Storm, 2 Sun & Moon Lost Thunder. Nothing to major.

The price for the Glaceon and Leafeon Vstar cards from Crown Zenith have jumped up recently too. Eeveelutions are always great cards.

Been selling on eBay for 25 years. I expect the buyer to cover shipping as I am not a corporation. They are generally fine with it.

Hey Dany! Have you seen about the case of Cardmarket and the Van Gogh Pikachu? They fined a guy 13 000 for 'buyouts' that weren't really buyouts really, but just trying to manipulate the price. Insane behavior. I hope TGC clamps down on nonsense too, but probably not...

I never saw the Flareon box in the wild. Just 2 Vaporeon and 2 Jolteon, ever. They flew off the shelves apparently.

Eeveelutions will always be popular. I agree, buying what you want is the better approach. People do struggle storing a huge amount of bulk which may not necessarily be liquid. I’m a big fan of Umbreon, I wonder if it’ll get its own premium box in the future!

Umbreon GX box that came with a promo, jumbo, pin, coin, many packs. It was early in the Sun and Moon era if I remember correctly, and I would always find them on clearance at Target.

@@duke_aeric For sure, dude. It would be amazing. The eeveelutions have had no love this generation so far. The espeon and umbreon uncommons from obsidian flames were nice but where's the SIR's? Evolving Skies needs some competition.

I'm so glad i got these in 2022ish! Got the Vaporeon and Flareon boxes for RRP, Jolteon i got for £67 from a UK store last year. Gorgeous artworks, by far some of my favourite designs. The Flareon V is just 👌👌

Those collection boxes are some of the favorite in recent years

I’ve graded so many of the eeveelution premium collections alt arts. Super tough grades getting back tons of 9’s, especially the V’s. Built up about 45x of them in PSA 10 over the past couple years. Happy to see the market recognize their value :)

Charizard upc first run had 1 extra Evolving skies pack, the later runs had 16 packs as advertised on the box.

Love these and you're right fanny, a lot of those random V boxes, they're still below msrp on tcgplayer....time to buy em up 😎

Had sold one of the two sets I had of the flar/jolt/vaporeon premium about a year ago. Should have picked up singles of the promos in there as well. These boxes were obviously set to do well

I bought the vaporeon vmax collection at a local card shop for $80 a few months ago. Wound up selling the coin to some guy at pokemon league for $60.

My friend just picked up the promos from these boxes before the increase. Good move.

Yup, managed to buy 1 jolteon premium box. Wanted to get on eof each but they were all bought out. Waited for a re-print, which they eventually announced, well that re-print must have been the most half assed as those sold out before i even got the email for re-stock. Had hoped for another but they never did.

Makes me wonder if the Kingdra EX shrouded fables box will be a good hold. One of my personal favorite Pokémon and everyone is in love with that card

Can't find cards at local stores, but we are getting a pokemon center vending machine on June 19.

Picked up 2 full sets and 2 extra Vaporeon Premium Collection boxes all at retail and also have 4 sealed Charizard UPC's. I really thought I was in the hole on those UPC's but thankfully waiting did the trick! 🙌

Im a huge eevee/eeveelution fan. I bought the eeveelution vmax boxes to display, but I bought a couple extra sets in hopes of trading some day.

Even that Radiant Eevee promo card from pokemon go is trending upward pretty strong

I have only been back in the hobby for 2 years but for collection boxes if they have cool promo cards I will buy some

It took me months just to get a lone Vaporeon box. It took a year to find them all in stock so I could finally get my precious Jolteon. I have 5 boxes stowed away.

Very few collectiion products do well. If you have to get a collection box, aim for a premium collection and focus on the promos and the pack selection before investing. Other wise just buy booster boxes or ETBs and hold for a few years. Just my opinion. Great content as always.

Skip the etb, the money you would spend on those combine and get more boosters or UPC’s better returns faster, less shelf time/storage space usage. Besides that, couldn’t agree more.

The market cost for these boxes are actually less than the sum of the parts. So for the crafty buyer, I would think about buying these before they increase again.

I stored about 7-8 sets of the vmax eevee collection boxes ripped a few graded the promos got some 10s and still got the rest. Debating if now is the time to let them go

It’s funny I just listed 3 of my 4 vaporeon premium boxes for sale and here’s a video on them lol

I’m upset I didn’t buy these earlier. I’ve actually been buying many of the promo cards because I think they look cool and most of them are cool, even the common ones given out at retailers.

couple months ago I went to a little local show and there was a dude there that was desperately trying to get rid of those boxes and after finally talking it over with my gf we ended up buying them and he was so happy to have sold those boxes that he high fived the other two vendors standing next to him. I bought all three of them for a total of $225.. pretty happy he talked us into buying these right now lol

Would have bet my last dollar, that Danny was Hufflepuff. I guess I was wrong.

Wow I just picked up all 3 of those Eevee evolution boxes today and you make a video. Paid $250 for all 3 sealed, I think I did okay. I Love all the Alt arts in them so I had to buy it.

The price jumps for Sword and Shield Era is absolutely ridiculous and I am not a fan. Alt arts going up by like double or more is just insane

I think most people who want to buy and hold product focus on booster boxes. You want the largest number of packs in the smallest amount of storage space used. Doing gimmicky items for pins, tins, mass produced promos is just asking to lose. Just ask yourself how do I get the most amount of packs for the lowest price and the easiest to store. You get booster boxes.

I got them all in a ten, raw and sealed 👌

Definitely made a lot of mistakes collecting, but buying out the Walmart of all there eeveelution premium collection boxes was one of my biggest wins!

The boom in Pokemon is all the smart single graded holders are selling to the people FOMO ing SWSH. It definitely isn’t because of twilight masquerade

I traded my sealed charizard upc and some singles for a sylveon vmax alt art. I think I made out pretty good on the deal😂

I unfortunately got screwed with trying to buy these promo cards. I had won an eBay auction for the flareon v before the price skyrocketed and the seller said he didn’t have the card anymore and didn’t know the card still had an open auction that his son had posted. So I got refunded. Then I bought the Jolteon v on TCGplayer and I never received the card and ordered it over a month ago. I think the seller realized the rise of the card and probably ghosted me.

The pull rates are decent on the later sets that have the subsets like trainer gallery or especially Crown Zenith with the galarian gallery..but yeah the majority of SwSh pull rates aren't great
