What a creepy place... from personal experience do not stay here if you have to drive hours home the next morning because you won't get much sleep... my wife and I stayed here in 2019 and we stayed in the Sarah Black room... talk about a crazy scary experience!!! 😨

William the little girl you are talking about is that during the Battle of Gettysburg a girl was shot and killed by a stray bullet in the house.

Also the Murder you are talking about could be that Jennie Wade died from a Confederate Sharpshooter in the attic of the house.

I am surprised that they didn't mention that the bullet that killed Jennie Wade, the only civilian death during the battle, was believed to have come from the sniper at the Farnsworth. Was that the "murder" you felt?

Jane, That has never been proven definitively, and there is contention among historians. Therefore, we didn't mention it.

It's funny you say that because a historian took me to the bullet hole that killed Jenny Wade. If you stick your finger in it the hole goes up. If she were killed as far away as Jenny Wade's sisters home if would have to have been a great shot and the hole would have pointed downward. There was a confederate occupied house just downhill from the house on the same side of the street.

Was there something being moved at 26:33? Anyone else hear that?

What was being said walking out the door of the cellar at 27:40

Not at the 17 minute mark but at the 21:27 mark in the basement we heard what sounded like a young girl or child’s voice. My wife and I rewound it and double-checked to make sure we heard it. Wonder if it was the little girl you were asking about? Or the little boy from the accident?
