I cry :..(

Only recently have i rewatched this movie, and I can now truly appreciate it being that i haven't seen it since my early childhood. And i have to say, the scene where they say their final goodbye has got to be the most sentimental acting I've ever scene. Right after he says goodbye she just stares at him, looking up and down realizing she has to let him go, where she then kisses him and you can even see her lip quiver because she's crying. Where she then whispers, "I love you". You can almost literally feel the emotion in both him and her. He closes his eyes with content, as if that's what he's been longing for all his life. The plot is great but the actors really brought it to life. This is a true piece of art. This is one of those rare cases where a bunch of talented and truly dedicated people set out to create something beautiful, some chemistry occurs... and a miracle happens. Fortunately for us, this miracle is immortalized on film.

MrCustomKickz I agree with every word you said. This film was on tv the other day and they have finally given it a deserving 4 stars. It's one of the saddest, yet most touching films ever. The music was perfect and was a travesty that it didn't even get nominated for best score.

She went on to star in Sleepy Hollow with Johnny as well. Except that she had plastic surgery and changed her name to Christina Ricci.

Sometimes just a beautiful song like this makes you realize how wonderful it is true love, even when you feel it for a person who other people think is horrible, but only you know how much that person is sweet, sensitive, and especially so as edward. it is impossible not to cry this beautiful film!

Perfection. One of the best movies ever created, and this video captures all the best elements of it. The story is tragic, but utterly beautiful.

I weep every time. His princess, she did love him. I live in a spooky world with critters, no one can understand or tolerate it. Very sad for me, I might as well have hands of knives. I just adore it, I don't shun it. It's gorgeous. Wonderful posting, bless you. Uprated, favorited, shared. Great movie, I did buy a legit copy. It's magical and funny. I wish people could understand the critters around me. I wish they could. It is not my fault why the critters hang out with me.

That's beautiful.

in a sense though, we all love this movie because we CAN relate to it. there is a little bit of Edward in all of us.

I was crying most of the way through this especially when Edward talked 'Goodbye'...'I love you' here come the tears! Beautiful song. Well done! :') xx

I'm Edward on the outside. I got my hands blown off by a One Bad Mother In Law firework, and, to my dismay, they put scissors in their stead. I can't cut hair nor create bush yard work like Edward. And needless to say I can't rub one out. This dude got the best of us scissorhands folk!

This film talks about a love which couldn't continue. A forbidden for the society love. Imagine that everyone tells you not to be with "loosers". But the power of love of him, makes the girl to love him as she doesn't love another one.

I was always captivated by that movie but especially the sound track very unique an introspective on how an individual copes with his. life an other humans. an how they see him thru their eyes. I especially liked the ice sequence Edward cutting up that ice at warp speed while his lady friend dances about. with the music playing it was total enchantment. long live Edward Scissorhands.🌠

Thanks to the story writers, producers, director and wonderful cast, the movie "Edward Scissorhands" has left magical impression in us. Unforgettable performance by Johnny Depp. I also remember him in What's Eating Gilbert Grape (1993). Hope one of these days, Leonardo DiCaprio would star along with Johnny Depp. Both are gifted actors.

Flip! I could feel the feelings in this movie man. I first came across this movie when I was in primary school, I am 22 now lol but as a kid I never really got to watch this movie fully so I never understood it. I'd get distracted and end up doing other things haha as kids do. I used to think while just starting to watch the movie, why would someone want to be with someone with scissors hands? Haha and that thought alone would just make me think, nah I don't want to watch this lol. But then the other night I got the random thought of watching this movie and that made me wonder the same thing - Why/What is it about this guy with scissor hands that there's a movie made about it? What's the reason of this movie? Lol so I got my laptop, put this movie on, and watched it... And I understand now, what this movie is about! Tbh, it almost made me cry! :/ The part when she asks him to hold her, and then he says he can't...but she goes into his arms anyway, and he's holding her close. Not only that part but near the end when she tells him, that she loves him and you can see how much it means to her and how much that meant to him! From this story it shows that when you really care about someone and love them, how far you'd go to protect them... But into deeper thinking it made me appreciate what I have. The fact I have a fully functioning body, and that there is no reason for me to be afraid to do things when everything with me is okay. But it's true from this movie, in reference to Edward and his scissor hands, that it can be hard to fit into a normal-living everyday life when you struggle with something about yourself. He still had the will to live and tried to live, but he just couldn't live as normal as the other people in the neighbourhood...and from there, that's where things just went downhill for him - but he tried. It got to a point where he had to go back to where he came from but in the process of this all, he meets and falls in love with this beautiful girl who really cared about him, I guess gave him the will, a reason to keep trying to go on regardless of the problems/challenges he was facing to fit in. But the fact that he tries, and she falls in love with him for who he is even though in his situation there was something not fully complete with him, he still tried. This movie portrays a perspective of life where if you have nothing wrong with you, there's so much opportunity out there for you and there's no reason for you to not try especially when there's someone who is in a much worse situation than you are...when I understood this, I was touched ay. I learnt an invaluable lesson from this movie, and probably one I will never forget.
