sometimes I tend to lose my passion for horseriding, but then I watch this kur, and I get really inspired. this is what horseriding is all about.

The likeness between Gribaldi and Totilas is outstanding. Both are such beautiful horses with a talent that no other horse has come near too in my humble opinion.

yes i ride and have had horse all my life and have done dressage for years. there arent flies round them all the time you know but it is a way of balance. my trainer told me once.

Where is Gribaldi in the competitions? I haven't heard from him for a very long time. Most of the time it's Edward winning with Sisther De Jeu of Totilas.

Call the landesamt. They recommend facilities and trainers in any area. The stables are rated with stars, much like the Michelin guide. 4 stars is very good. Best of Luck!

I notice that Gribaldi drops his poll, making his upper crest the highest point. I have a Trakehner who soes exactly the same thing and I have not been able to correct this problem. Anyone know if this is a 'trakehner thing' or does anyone have any tips or tricks to help this problem long term, as it is very difficult to correct this for more than a few steps.. the poll drops back to it's happy place.(But I am happy to see that even top horses can have this habit and it's not just my trekky!)

Hellow. I can't send a private message because of friend lock, so i'm writeing here, please send me a private message to answer or as a comment in one of my videos. My question: I was wondering if i could use your video with edward gal, in a video about what dressage is now a days ?

I understand hyperflexion, and I don't do it cause I don't think it's any use. They just suck back thru transitions. I do my best to keep him up to the poll, but he feels like he's not coming from behind when he is in a correct outline. It's a strange feeling & I was just looking to see if anyone knew any handy tricks to fix this problem, whilst maintaining the feeling of thruness.. even tho it looks great from the ground, it feels terrible when he is up to the poll & I don't know how to fix it.

yes, it like a way of showing their concentration as well as the white spray in their mouth... how lucky to have a horse!! I also do dressage, but i have no horse of my own. I help training other people's horses :D

This is not a Trakehner thing - how could it be? Try KZread in connection with "Gribaldi" and "Hyperflextion". It should become pretty clear where his neck position comes from. It's actually pretty sad to watch. I applaud that horse for keeping his spirit up for such a long time under that kind of training. As far as your own horse goes, that is pretty difficult to diagnose over the internet ;-)

you're wrong. eventercrazy and taysno1 are totally right. you know, just ridding and living with horses isn't enough. You have to study a lot to be a good rider. I study a little bit of veterinary and basic helath care, anathomy, horses psicology...if you read the British Horse Society manual its a good help! (no offense intended)

ja aba nicht der dritte halswirbel,sondern das genick soll den höchsten punkt stellen und die hase sollte nicht hinter die senkrechte abtauchen,was sie hier allerdings hin und wieder tut...problem bei diesem pferd ist,das er den hals noch sehr rund macht,da fällt der falsche knick nicht so stark auf...

aber das ist bei ihm auch keine Rollkur, das mit dem Genick an höchster Stelle ist halt ein bisschen schwer, wenn der solche Muskeln hat (bzw. hatte :( ) aber das stimmt wirklich, dass ist ein unglaublich schönes Pferd gewesen *-*

Ich auch nicht. Auch wenn dieses Pferd wahrscheinlich genauso abgerichtet worden ist, wie alle Dressurpferde (.>höchster Punkt, Genick? Nein..), so ein wunderschönes Pferd. Ich bin eigentlich eher ein gegner von solchem 'Reiten', aber ich bin echt hingerissen von dieser Schönheit. Nur ein Schwachkopf würde abstreiten, dass das ein wunderschönes Pferd ist.

Schrecklich, so zusammengezurrt. Ich frage mich, was eine Ingrid Klimke wohl aus diesem wunderschönen Pferd gemacht hätte.

Horrible a rolled horse. This has nothing to do with Classical Dressage.

i think these musical freestyles are the dumbest thing to happen to dressage. if people need to hear crappy majestic music to watch dressage they should stay home.
