Here's my 5th composition. Romantic piano is intimate, expressive and virtuoso. In this arcane I explore the intimate side. This is not Valentine's music... but rather sensitive music charged with emotion and individuality. Romanticism is probably the most important style in piano music, as it contributed greatly to the development of modern piano making. This is explained by a search for technical virtuosity that deliberately aims to broaden the range of piano sonorities. Extremes are explored: softer, louder, longer, shorter, lower, higher, and so on. Some pieces, called "études", serve as exercises for learning specific techniques. However, composers like Chopin and Liszt pay particular attention to the musicality of their etudes, so that they are pleasant to listen to. In fact, these two composers are a must for professional classical pianists.
