Trivia: Dong is an endearment. for a younger brother... Or it could casually mean as a fave pal or a general term for a stranger. Vis-Min (Visayaa-Mindanao) people understand why MM may have changes on matters of addressing a person. Plus the sense of proper public identification for Edward alsoI as he is being casted as a host of his own show. Hmmmm. I believe, it would be best as well to call Maymay as Marydale. She has a beautiful name but was publicly identified as Maymay or MM. But her three names truly rocks. Unlike Edward.✌ And that's awesome!😉

same here. I admire them both but then while watching this, I realized, it is only MayMay. Just her all along.

Edward, don't ask for a chance, work for it. Don't ask for assurance before you make an action, or before you prove Maymay you're now different, work for it. Maymay saying it's difficult for her to build a destroyed trust is not what she really meant for I know, even just a bit, she still wants you to prove to her that you're matured and wise enough already and that you already learned from your mistakes. If you really love Maymay, pursue her, even slowly. Prove to her what she deserves. If she still insisted to just stay as friends, you did not lose. At least, you proved to her that you've changed for the better.

Mayward really reminded me of the Samtin(Sam Milby, Toni Gonzaga) back in the days. Both started in pbb and instantly became a hit loveteam because the guys confessed they had a crush on the girls. But let's face it, the way both women carried the loveteam is admirable. I remembered watching GGV kung saan umamin si Toni Gonzaga na nasaktan siya ni Sam Milby noon. They used to be the "it" loveteam noon- blockbuster films every year, etc. Akala ni Toni si Sam na talaga pero napunta daw sa iba. Tawa pa ng tawa sila ni vice ngayon pero dati na bwesit daw sila talaga. But time really heals and God can work through the pain, ang saya na ngayon ng buhay ni Toni kay Paul Soriano. I hope and pray, Maymay na sana maging strong kayo ng nagpapasaya sa iyo ngayon.

napanood ko ng buo ito kanina sa Kumu and I can't help but to shed tears for both of them. I felt the regrets kay edwards for the mistakes he did without naming any person and i also felt the pain in maymay and many times nagingilid ang mga luha (at boses nya) and you can feel ung sakit na nararamdaman nya (the reason maybe kaya dinelete ni may lahat ng photos nila ni edward na walang kinalaman sa promitions). this is my take (opinion ko lang po), sabi nga ni edward sa interview na ito, andaming haka-haka at mga naging imbestigador ng mga bagay-bagay na di naman totoo, so i may be right or maybe wrong, yet eto ang opinion ko base sa mga statements nila at mga physical gestures nila, including mga in-between the lines nila. i think very careful sila not to name anyone esp themselves sa pinatutungkulan nilang pinagdaanan nilang mabigat. I think sila nga talaga or naging sila aprticularly dun sa Paris, doon nagtapat si edward sa kanya, at sa Bali naman kung saan niya sinagot si edward. and anyone could tell their undeniable sweetness nila sa isat-isa that people (not fans) that are closest to them (i.e. family and closest friends) magsasabi na sila na nga (without telling the public). However, e2 lang last year during the early months of the pandemic, may nangyari. kung anoman ito, 3rd party man or others hindi ko alam, but it definitely ruined their relationship that it broke maymay's trust and both of them went into some form of depression (just look at ung pagka-payat ni edward). then they both went back to the Lord that made both of them cope up with their breakup at para makapagtrabaho pa rin sila together even though they are both hurting. mahirap ito dahil they have to look ok (esp during the promotion ng Princess Dayarese). Kita natin ung pagsisisi ni edward sa nagawa nya, and si Lord ung naging takbuhan nya. Now that both "seem" to have forgiven each other, hindi pa rin kaagad-agad maghihilom ung mga sugat ng nakalipas. tigan nyo ung sagot ni edward dun sa tanong ni may na "what makes you keep from falling in love again (or something like that), he said he's afraid na baka magawa nya uli ung same mistake dun sa person na mahal nya at hindi nya kayang mangyari uli yun. maymay answered it ng "edward kung iisipin mo lagi na baka magawa mo uli yun, magagawa mo nga uli, unless maniwala sya na di na uli mangyayari yun at natuto sya sa pangyayari na yun. dinagdagan pa nya na malaki ung nakita nyang pagbabago kay edward na mabuti, at hindi mahirap para sa kanya na mahanap ung tao na para sa kanya (at nannginginig ung boses nya na gusto nang umiyak). Maymay also revealed na ung stado ng puso nya na she's still hurting but recovering. ung pinaka nakakaiyak ay ung tanong ni edward na "may pag-asa pa ba". at 1st denial c maydale na "ano yun" para nga namn di magsip ang tao na sila yun. at ang tagal nya pinagisipan ang sagot nya. while maymay was trying to find words to answer that question, nakatitig ako sa mukha ni edward. and anyone can sense that he's begging to hear "yes may chance pa" from maymay. nakaka-iyak dahil they wer both hurt and is still in the process of healing while its; difficult because the process must go on while projecting a sweet love-team sa mata ng publiko. the great thing about this is that we can see that both of them surrendered it all, including their broken hearts to God, without "umaasa" that they will be back togeher like nothing happen. They just let God be God and if it is His will that they are really meant to be, time will tell. But both ae so genuinely happy (or joyful) for each other even if that means going on their separate ways.

MayWard fan ako dati pero, dahil lang kay May. Meron sigurong masakit na pinag daanan si May sa Love team nila o nag invest sya ng feelings kaya sya nasasaktan dahil may panloloko sa kanyang nagawa. I love the growth that I've seen in Edward especially in his faith and doing his best in making things right in his new journey with God. I hope maymay will truly find the healing sa mga nangyari sa past niya and for them both to move on and truly move forward sa plano ni Lord sa mga buhay nila. I don't thinks it's right to judge them both especially sa mistake na nagawa man ni dong sa relationship nila bc I see na he is trying his best and I think alam na niya naman na yon sa sarili niya and Hindi na kailangang ipamukha ng lahat yung mga yon bc guys nakagawa man siya ng mali never invalidate yung feelings niya rin. imagine the struggle and mental health niya rin. I think their handlers facilatated this interview so that MAYWARD can finally settle the loose ends of their PROFESSIONAL RELATIONSHIP. After watching this interview, It's safe to say that what they have now is purely professional, a bit of friendship maybe. But definitely, definitely not like they used to be. As a mayward fan of course Im sad. But it would be unfair on maymay's part if we, as fans expect her to be romantically faithful with Edward when it was not given to her in the first place. Some fans know this for a fact that's why new ships are being supported regardless if they are realistic or not. As a maymay fan, i felt sorry that she had to go through this pain. And i am not going to expect anything from her nor question her choices. Its her life anyways, and we should respect that. I guess that would be the true test for a fan. Support your idol without asking for them to meet your expectations. ✌
